1. Evening all, I've found one of these locally, about 20yr old and in fairly good condition. Not a bad price either £350. Obviously it's not lightweight but I'm tempted to have a punt to pair with my 400+. Question is has anyone got/used one and anything to look out for when I test drive tomorrow? It's got a 1x15 and 4x12 configuration. Any help appreciated 👍

 9.
It's a cool name for sure and I get the connection. It's a fine bass and you'd think Fender would have been all over this rather than the Dimension which lets face it is a terrible name for anything!
Yeah I agree, Fender should have brought this one out, would make a packet! I'm sure others would agree? I have the pink jazz too and it's a cracking bass as well, but this is way cooler and better to play.

 14. Well, I like the 'potamus and the name is cool ( was also something Flea said he'd call a bass and was a RHCP fanzine so was on point ). And who else has a Shuker Rockinfreakapotamus! It's the nuts!

 17.
Timing, always bloody timing I've agreed to trade my Hot Rod for a Gibson Memphis ES335 bass (+some loot, it's more expensive than the Hot Rod). So, for the next week or two, no loot
Destined never to get one mate! Sod's law
 18. Awesome bass! Got one, love it! An absolutely great sounding bass and a canny price too! I'm sure Karlfer was looking for one!

 20.
Why are all the best basses miles from me down in Devon. If it was closer my GAS levels may have risen enough to tempt a try out. Good luck with the sale.
No worries mate, it plays brilliantly too! Well if you're ever passing 😉
