Bought on here from Bearfist and it really is a cracker, just not for me and I have gas for something else! Comes in a small flight case with pedal. In top condition and I only bought as a spare and used only a few times at home by me. Link for the technical bumf http://darkglass.com/microtubes-900/ Happy to courier or collect Northumberland. Thanks and pics to follow...
2. A thing of beauty mate, looks mega! Wonder how it will play/sound once finished 👍
3. Ah man!!! PM sent 🙃
4. Looks lovely so far mate, and enjoy the gig fella!
5. Looks epic! The exact one I had picked out to buy but last minute saw a Dingwall Combustion 5er for a good price so bought that. Have to say it looks like a beauty! Lots of good things being said about these, price is so good too!
6.
Top left area is the Osmo, top right is Tru-oil and bottom is unfinished: End grain is even more impressive - top is Osmo, middle is Tru-oil and bottom is unfinished: And this has had a quick trial coat all over, including the fretboard to see how it performs: I have to say, this is a bit of a revelation Next check is to see how quickly, how well and how non-tacky it all dries. I also am using the thin trial coat to show up any sanding scratches or missed bits before I do the proper coats. The whole thing will be sanded down one more time before then. Other checks and trials include:

Will this slurry-and-buff in the same way as, say, tru-oil?
If you do that, do you lose the lightening?
I also have received the Crimson White Stain. Can this be used under the Osmo?
How much does that then lose the figuring?
Going to have a busy and interesting afternoon!
Firstly, excellent work! I use Osmo Polyx oils a lot, make furniture, kitchens, shepherd huts etc... And it is as good as they say. Doesn't stain, heat ring, wipes clean with warm soapy water. Super flat Matt finish to glossy. You can certainly buff it up to a sheen, we use lint free cloths or woollen mit. It's a wax oil so you can put a finish underneath, we have painted, waxed, oiled underneath but always do a test first. Happy to help if I can. Can't wait to see the finished build.
7.
Well I have a pair of Dingwalls (a Super P5 and a Super J5), and I much prefer the string length to the Combustion I had before both in terms of playability (small hands) and tone (the G really sings at 32", and the B is still tighter than a Fender at 35"). Here's a clip I did of my Super J a couple nights ago (guest starring my Egyptian Mau, Chloë). https://www.facebook.com/JohannTingMusic/videos/10155003439092932/ Would really like to try one of the Maruszczyks. If he can make a six string fanned fret, then I'm REALLY interested.
Just bought an early Dingwall 5er combustion on EBay. Arrives next week and my first fan fret bass. Hopefully an easy transition!
8. Ah man, so tempting!!!!!! Almost bought a new one a few weeks ago!
9. Up for sale as no longer needed as my new Big Twin has arrived and proved to be epic! Bough here on BC from Bob, see link below for details and pics, hope it ok to do that! http://basschat.co.u...24#entry3284324 I paid £450 and only used it twice so would like the same back. Collect from Hexham, Northumberland or can courier. Thanks, Paul

14. Still available type of BUMP ^^^
15. Cabs still available bump
16. Yeah mate it's HUGE! Well let me know if situation changes as still available at minute 👍
17. I used them with a TH500 and sounded epic. I use a GK2001rb now and the sound was really full and super high end and clarity. Moving back to Barefaced Big Twin 2 again now though that's the only reason I'm selling and no doubt will regret at some point but the Barefaced stuff is mega!
