    I have for sale my two month old, boxed, never left the house Tech 21 VT500 bass amp. Great condition with no marks that I can see.     Unplug it from the mains. Is the hum gone.

    I had a hum problem with basses and amps in part of the house. I was using home plugs (Internet through mains) and if I removed them the hum disappeared. They pollute the mains with noise that can be picked up on your bass or amp.
