    I will throw this into the ring... Atomic Bass Box. Has... Di, 4 band eq, compressor, boost / overdrive and finally 3 memories for amp and speaker ir's. Love mine.

    How about an Ashdown Arc. Mine has an amazing oiled neck. Much better than a gloss neck IMHO.

    Me playing a 6 string fretless P bass made by Shuker. Played just like a fretted bass if the action was above 2mm.

    In my experience I would put the choices down to Glockenklang for a transparent sound or a Bartolini for a musically coloured sound. Lots of choice unfortunately. These are my two favourite on board preamps.

    The PJB amp was the most neutral sounding amp I have ever owned. Highly recommended if you want no colouration from the amp.

    After resisting the call for a pedal board for many years I've finally put together a simple Di, EQ, Compressor, Overdrive and Chorus system using only a few pedals. Can go direct to PA or into my GK 2001EB - 212 Neo.

    After a change in direction I'm putting up my pimped Jack Casady Bass with Case for sale. Details.... Original case. Limited edition silver burst colour. Babicz black bridge. (Original included) Mama humbucker pickup from Italy. CTS pots. Rotosound Flats. (40-100) 1.5mm low action. No dings to neck. A few swirl marks to paint. Very well cared for and loved. Fantastic recording and performance bass. £600 collected from Torquay Devon. Case, pickup and bridge cost £400 when new.

    After lots of fiddling and listening through headphones and the amp and speakers I have settled on these settings using the editor.

    I have a MB500 which has one small fan that is almost silent. I use it to practice at home in the evening and I can hardly hear it.
