  1. I did actually take a shot with not only the 60B in it, but also my R8 🙂 Seeing as you had done the 60B i didnt bother posting it.
  2. Forgot to post this earlier.
  3. Product Red as Apple would call it....and then charge a premium for it lol.
  4. I thought I had already said it sounded better, but if not, then yes, it sound better 🙂 No need for my B1-on anymore, but will give it to my son, who also has the G1-on.
  5. When you hit edit the first 3 knobs relate to the first 3 parameters in that effect. The 4th knob takes you to the next page of 3 parameters. If there are only 4 parameters then all 4 knobs are used.
  6. Nice one Bas. Mine will sit on the bed/couch when i use it at home so i the expression pedal wouldn’t get used. Ill get a shot done with the B1-on soon. The B1-on seems a bit wider but both are pretty similar. I just had a quick play with mine. I love it. The tone seems strong and no noise that i can hear. Definitely a bit more kick to the tone over then B1-on. I also love how those knobs have direct control over the drum machine. Instead of having to scroll though Pattern/BPM/volume etc, before you can adjust it each of those knobs now control ther relevant parameter directly. More than worth £68 IMO.
  7. Im sure there will be a small influx of Zoom boxes over the coming weeks/days 😉
  8. I agree about the foot switches as well, and it would also help spread them out. I hated my B3 because of the closeness of the switches, although the B3n was a bit better. Ive still not played through the 4 yet, but i have played with the switches and settings etc. im very impressed at what Zoom have accomplished. The main knobs on the front adjust overall Bass/Mid/treble/Master Volume, and are active all the time. This is very handy and not something any of the previous Zoom boxes have (AFAIK). When you go in to patch mode each of the 5 buttons correspond to one of the 5 effects, so you can turn each effect on and off using just the button (or foot switch) without going in to any menu or selection routine like on the B1-on. It all just seems more intuitive and less button pushing and scrolling around menus. Very happy so far.
  9. i cant really use a rig in my flat, so always go for the headphone option. it suits me and means i can practice anywhere, and also play my ipad though it. Saying that, i do occasionally plug whatever im using (Zoom/Spectradrive etc) in to my Bluetooth speaker, via a cable, and that sounds lovely. Very punchy and loads of bass, without the volume id have to go to if using a rig.
  10. I have to say, im pretty pleased with the price. Considering it was delivered free by DPD the next day thats pretty good value.
  11. Sure, ill do it tonight. Ill line it up with the B3n and B1on. Its a bit smaller than i imagined, which could make it tricky for live use. Thats fine for me as i didnt buy it for that, even though i had been thinking of using it live. The overall feel is nice, it seems a bit more robust than the B1on. the plastic feels very sturdy. its got a slight roughness ot it which makes it feel less plastic that the B1on. This is my size 11 foot.
  12. FIRST!!!!!! 🙂
  13. I love the ability to turn on and off individual effects in a patch. Very handy
  14. Agreed. A lot of the big companies also have eBay outlets. Ive never used one before but at £69 it was worth a shot. Just got an email to say its been posted so we shall see. I noticed GAK have the guitar version in stock already.
  15. Yeah, or maybe something more technical like 'Why use a single pick when you have multiple fingers' 🙂
  16. Although it doesnt mention the above in the manual, its also doesn't say it cant do this 😂
  17. You're welcome guys. Just dont blame me if its a scam lol. Bas, have you started the new thread yet 🙂
  18. Just ordered one from eBay. Should be here this week. £69 inc free postage. The seller is Zoom Uk. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zoom-B1-Four-UK-Bass-Multi-Effects-Pedal/264303958550?hash=item3d89be5a16:g:ZvAAAOSwV4xcyBNL
  19. Yes, whatever the expression pedal has been programmed to do will effect the whole signal chain if the B1 is last in the chain.
  20. Yeah, the SC4 seems like a cool idea. I think the DC7 is around £235, judging by the peice in the USA
  21. Yeah, the B3n is definitely more geared towards live use, other than no XLR.
  22. Because the B3 will run off battery. No other reason.
  23. Im with you on that Ped. I use my B1on most of the time at home, and my B3n stays in the draw (not sure where my 60B is) because of the ability to use battery power. I wish i had kept my old B3 now, but looking forward to the B1Four now. I did dig the B3n out a over Easter, but i found it harder to use the Drum machine compared to the B1on. Hopefully the B1 Four will be as easy to use as the B1on
  24. Ive just switched to these new EB picks, and so far im impressed. Ive always played with a pick, i just cant get away from them. I got a packet of the Shield 1.5mm, but found them a bit smaller than i find comfortable holding, so ive also got the 2mm larger ones, which i find just right. They arent as grippy as i thought they woudl be. One side seems smoother than the other. Got a good tone though and ive never managed ot drop a pick before so ill stick with them for now.
  25. Just seen this on the Ciok’s page. Looks pretty cool. Can even be USB powered. https://cioks.com/products/cioks-4/ Also this. Not cheap though. https://cioks.com/products/dc7/
