  1. I asked the exact same question a few years ago, never got a really 100% soldi answer so i didnt bother dwelling on it. In fact we could question if the change happens if using a wireless system as well I guess..
  2. The B3n doesn't have that problem either, at least not unless its faulty. Mine is perfect.
  3. Fantastic price. GLWTS.
  4. I’m using a EMG Geezer Butler in my Fender P at the moment. Not the best ive had, but not the most experience and its based on a vintage P bass tone that Bobby Vega has (dont let the Geezer endorsement put you off). My vote would go to the Fender 62RI though. Cheaper as well.
  5. I wouldn’t put up with that screen. I admit to being a bit OCD or picky when it comes to faults, and that’s an obvious one.
  6. Cant you reset the B3n? If you have other patches programmed you can save them to your computer, reset the B3n and then load them back.
  7. I brought this new from Bass Direct earlier this year. I used it at two rehearsals on my pedal board and then packed it away. Condition is as new and comes with box and all the paperwork etc. It does live up to the hype, but due to the size its an awkward box to fit in with my other pedals on my small board, so i gave up. https://lehle.com/EN/RMI-Basswitch-Sonic-Spark/VIDEO#go Ill upload some photos of the actual pedal later. Not looking for any trades, although I’d be interested in a Tech 21 Bass Flyrig or VTBass deluxe, with cash your way. Looking for £130 and that includes delivery to mainland UK. £125 for a meet up in central london. Sorry, I will not post outside the UK so please don’t ask.
  8. We’ve just started to play Vertigo and i love how the bass is mid scooped, but so powerful. Ive found i can get that with my Paradriver, but ive not tried it with a proper OD yet. Having a mid sweep allows me to go from scooped to ‘punk’ P bass with just a smal turn of the freq and level knobs, which i really like. My Q/strip does it better but of course no driver on it, so i dont use it anymore. Hmmm, might look at the Flyrig again as that seems to offer most of what i need, even though its mains powered.
  9. When i got my B3n it was the first time I’d played through a B7K (or sim) and i feel in love with the patch that has the BDDI and B7k. In fact hearing this was what started me out on OD/heavy drive. Never used OD on bass until this point. At one point I got a B7K Ultra but sent it straight back after just an hour as i just didn’t feel i neede3d to spend so much money and still not get the tone i already had.
  10. Love the new hair style, really suits you. How did you find the B7K sim compares to the amps version?
  11. Looking good Bas 😂😂😂
  12. It is. All i did was delete the device in the My Computer window, so there was no going in to sub folders etc. Windows will then automatically re install the correct drivers and it will appear again. That seems to work for me and ive been doing that since getting my first B3.
  13. As posted earlier in this thread, ive always had issues with the zoom USB drivers. What works for me is to delete the drivers and device and let Windows re install them. This seems to refresh them.,
  14. In that case go to the link posted above and update to V2.0, then you can get the updated effects via Guitarlab. There is also an updated list of effects on the zoom website.
  15. Make sure you have the latest FW, Should be V2.0 EDIT: Opps, too slow lol.
  16. Nah, maybe i just need to power it up and look lol. I was going by the PDF FX list, which is obviously out of date.
  17. Sorry, my mistake, Glam comp is in the B3n as well.
  18. I’m sure its possible to get the same final effect as the Glam comp, but this is an actual effect in the Four rather than a combined patch, and seems to be the only Comp with a dry mix control. It doesn't exist in the B3n.
  19. And as Ive not used my B3n for months I’m probably not familiar with how they sound in comparison to the B1-on.
  20. Thanks, food for thought and i will give all these suggestions a go tomorrow. Its been ages since i used my B3n, and maybe it is the same, but i know i prefer the openness of the B1-on at the moment.
  21. Thanks, Ill give that a go tomorrow. I also found lowering the level of the cab sim helped, although i had it very low. I cant go back to the B1 tonight, but I’m sure there are no cab sims on the B1-on, they are built in to the amp sims and not adjustable, this could be the difference. I wonder if the Four has a built in Ashdown mode lol 😬😬
  22. Ive been having another play with mine tonight, and found a possible issue that might sway me back to the B1-on for home use. Since getting the B1-Four ive thought my bass sounded a bit muffled. I put it down to old strings, different presets and i just need to get used to them. Didn’t worry about it, but each time i used the B1-Four it just sounded a bit like my strings were really old. I couldn’t hear the notes clearly when playing along with my ipad. Anyway, i put new stings on tonight and they still sounded muffled, no brightness and zing. I got my B1-on out and it was much, much more open sounding. I didnt do a 100% direct comparison, just went through some of the presets on both. I went in to the SVT patch on the Four and turned off the cab sim, and back came the top end and sparkle. Tried it with a few of the other rig patches with the same result. I’m sure my unit isnt faulty, but I’m going to investigate more over the weekend. I ended up using the B1-on for most of the evening.
  23. I'm still getting to grips with my new Paradriver and MXR filter, plus the Tone prints in my BH800 to worry about replacing them just yet 🙂
  24. Yeah, i guess the Gramma pad will be the best option, but im still interested in hearing what both HPF's can do. Maybe at some point ill have time to try both. I like the idea of the B1 having an adjustable HPF over the fix freq on the Thumpinator.
  25. I used to use the Gramma pad a lot, as we were doing a lot of Social clubs, most having wooden stages. I got lazy over the past few years though and its now gathering dust at work as a work shelf. Ill dust it down for the next rehearsal. Im sure it will make a difference to what i feel on my feet if nothing else.
