Well at this price if i dont like it my son can have it for his guitar. Ironically i have a drawer full of OD's that ive brought over the past 2 years. Some of them very well respected, but i seem to always go back to using a BDDI (of which i have two). Now ive got a new bass that doesnt see to need that 'sansamp' tone, but i need some dirt still, and have also given up using main powered effects for now. I could get away with not using any, but with effects like these it seems once you start there is no way of getting away from them lol.

Well in all fairness ive been running wireless for over 15 years, as have most of the guitarists ive played with, and we have never had any real issues. I think the issue is more these cheap bug systems that are as robust as even the Line6 stuff, and with no way to adjust them.
-
I just mean we weren't coming out of each others rigs, what was going on behind the scene is a mystery as neither systems display that info. its been working fine for both of us, even at a gig on a very small stage, but on Tuesday something must have changed.

You can share them in the B1-Four Patch ideas thread on here.

Its not even my thread and you're attacking me for that now. Your posts are sooooo valid though, keep them up 🙄

If you could possibly understand any of my posts ive already said i work for a small printing company, and use Amazon a lot. What’s so hard to understand?
-
As opposed to getting it between next Mon-Wed. I think Thats worth paying £1.50 extra for IMO, especially as it will be delivered by courier and not just posted.
-
if you want something quickly then it stands to reason you pay a bit more. For the causal buyer maybe Prime isnt the way to go, but i make 100-200 orders a year with Amazon, and always use Prime next day delivery. If i was to do that without Prime it would cost a hell of a lot more. You also get Prime TV, Amazon music (not the full blown version though), and Prime Now included in the cost.

Cheers DB, yep, full sized one seems much more useful. EDIT: Also thanks of the heads up about the price at GG, Just ordered one myself.

But the delivery times are different so not quite the same thing.
-
Ah yes, I hadn’t thought about that. Cheers for that, ill look in to it tonight and will probably get one. I was offered one recently but thought it was just a booster, didn’t realise it could be used as a mild OD as well.

Must admit ive used the bridge pup solo’ed on a few songs now. Very powerful with a bit of drive on it.

I was using my Boss WL-20L last night at rehearsals, every time my guitarist came closer (although not close) I noticed the signal was cutting out. He uses an Xvive2 but we weren’t on the same channel. A bit worrying but might be a one off.

As above. Ive just started using my TCE Mojomo to supply my dirt tone. Not out and out OD, but dirty enough to sound noticeably dirty if that makes sense. Think songs like Should I stay, Shut up and dance (shoot the moon), and bit less for the 70’s rock covers etc. I’m happy with this pedal, but find it slightly dark sounding. I was just wondering if the Xotic would be a bit more open. As the price seems to have dropped a bit I’m tempted to give it a try. For reference ive had a VMT and didnt like the tone, too dark, i love my BDDI but trying to get away from the Sansamp effect (inc VTBass). I have a Pork Loin but never use it for some reason, but i want a smaller pedal anyway. I’m really only asking about these two, but if any other suggestions come to mind, it must run off battery.

I work in hatton garden, there is a LOT of that going on in the jewellery trade.

As a P34 owner I’d happily gig my 425 if i needed the extra string.

Why cant the small business use the same loopholes as the large corporations? Just asking as i know nothing about all this.

Ive sent loads of things back and never had an issue, even items costing £200+, but always items sold by Amazon themselves. Rarely do i use marketplace or fulfilled by Amazon. I can imagine more resistance to returning items from those, although still not had any issues. I do feel Amazon are clamping down a bit though. In the past If my Prime orders weren’t delivered on time Id normally get on to them and after putting it on a bit id get an extra month of Prime and maybe £5 credit, but in the last year or so ive not had these offered to me.

Sorry, i thought i was in the Covers Band thread 🤣

I find i do fiddle if there is something fiddle with. I had this with my old Lakland, TRBX, and my Sire V7. Run them in passive mode i thought, less to worry about, but then id start thinking 'what if i use active'.... The temptation was always there.

Most of my music purchases are on a whim, and all go to my work address. if anything is mentioned at home (vary rarely), one of you guys lent it to me lol. I brought a Jack Casady bass last Nov. Never looked at one or had the slightest interest in one. After watching the Stone Roses documentary and liking the tone, 45mins later i had brought one. I sold it a couple of months ago.

And im sure not everyone declares their gig earnings, even if they should.

A quick gig update from yesterday. I played at the Hampstead summer festival in north London. Outdoors on a wooden stage. i was helping out my guitarist other band, and this was the first time out with my P34. It performed like a dream. I got a few comments about the bass from a couple of other bass platers. Backline was an Ashdown ABM EVOII combo, might have been a 410, im not sure now. Never been a fan of Ashdown, even though i have had 3 amps from them, but this sounded really full and punchy no matter who was playing through it. There was PA support, but it sounded great in the crowd. The bass felt so easy to play. Tone wise i love how tight every note sounds, none of the muddy stuff interfering with them like my Fender has. Ok, it lacks a bit of girth (gigaddy), but more than makes up for in punch, which is what ive been looking for over the years. Im really starting to appreciate how rigid the bass and neck feel. i don't know how to describe it, and im sure most of you know what i mean, but it just feels like there are no limitations to it, in the right hands of course. Every note will sound just as it should, and with almost the same authority. I also love the body size. it feels like it was made for me. it make me feel its like a compact powerhouse. Ive even stopped using my BDDI now, as i feel the bass has most of what i need without an always on Pre amp. I plan on using just my Mojomojo for dirt, at least for now, but ive given up on using an always on effect. I really enjoyed the gig, but oh my, the singers.......... I m happy to share this as its not my band. Really nice guys/girls, but need a lot more practice. EDIT: Actually i should point out the female singer went on after this band and fronted a jazz band, and she sounded fine. Video.MOV
