  1. Just to point out to any youngsters reading this thread that this 👆 would make an absolutely ideal opening line for your CV, especially if you are applying for work in a veterinary practice or taking money on the dodgems down the local fair.
  2. Favourite in the 12:30 Gold Cup Trial Handicap from Kempton Park, going good to soft.
  3. Thanks to recommendations from @Osiris I have finally found a compressor that really compliments the Alix. The Effectrode PC-2A runs hot hence the big gap between the two, you can see the vents on the side of the unit. The Alix and the PC-2A are a marriage made in heaven, @Jabba_the_gut basses into this little board and out to a QSC K12.2 is the perfect set up for the kind of music we make ('acoustic' duo)...
  4. Just sold a pedal tuner to @pluckedout, excellent comms, instant payment and a lovely chap. Couldn't have been better. Naturally this means another trip out for the Frank Blank Seal of Approval...
  5. For Sale - Boss TU-3w Chromatic Tuner - ***SOLD*** Link to the Boss page on the TU-3w This item has been in it's box mostly since it was bought in mid-April. It's been to this years Midlands Bass Bash and posed for a few Show Us Your Rig/Ampless setup pics. It's barely been used and I would describe its condition as new. Comes boxed with all its paperwork, essentially what you'd get if you bought a new one for £149 like I did just because it looked cool even though I use clip-on tuners! My stupidity means your bargain. Would prefer pick up from Southend or meet between our locations or I'm happy to deliver to you (any distance considered) will also post if no other option possible.
  6. Big in Japan with Jayne Casey on vocals, Budgie on drums and Bill Drummond on guitar.
  7. Met up with Sidney this morning to unload my compressor all over him. He took it well although I think the coastguard may have scrambled the Whitley Bay lifeboat. Further to this I contacted the coastguard service in order that they refrain from scrambling lifeboats in the future as, I think we can all agree, we prefer our lifeboats poached. No animals were harmed during this feedback although I freely admit the Frank Blank Seal of Approval did graze a flipper on its way into this thread but that's what you get for swigging Buckfast at vespers.
  8. Purchased a slide scanner from Alan, excellent comms, instant posting, perfect transaction, therefore I am very happy to award the Frank Blank Seal of Approval...

    Pedalboard qs

@ped just about to sell my Aclam board + accessories/leads in case you are still interested in such a thing.
  10. Now you're pushing it, careful you don't get a kick up the asp.
  11. The title of our new Jazz fusion double album. We hope you like our new direction...
  12. Can anyone recommend a good clip-on tuna?
  13. I have, it works. A three hour practice session and you'll absolutely know if your playing relationship is viable.
  14. This is my dream rig, unfortunately my back favours an FRFR rig...
