Are these guards exact Fender USA Precision replicas? (To fit USA Standard Precision holes etc)

I will ask the guys who bought them what models they fitted them to. Mine is a bass doc model so I couldn't say for certain and wouldn't want to mislead you.
One commented that it was a perfect fit but I didn't ask to what. They are noticeably heavier than your average aftermarket plate

I'm with most others here. Over the years I've an occasional acoustic itch & had a number of acoustics which I've tried to like .. but didnt.
I had one of these for a while.. the colour was the best thing about it.

I bought one just after Xmas when I was thinking of making a bass - it's ok actually nice rosewood and profile - nut looks a bit cheap and the heel profile isn't quite a perfect match for a Fender socket but nothing a bit of sanding wouldn't sort. Never actually tried it on a body as I gave up trying to make a guitar but looks alright to me. I expect it will be appearing in the assorted musical bits for sale shortly

Colour me interested

Looks like I'll get to be the BC guinea pig then.

Blazing a trail is the way I see it...
People rescue barn-find cars. As long as its truly unplayable, I don't see the issue personally if you're actually rescuing it from being firewood essentially
