  2. For a jazz ? Red or brown I have actual celluloid available, poured, not printed as you can see from the depth of the top layer I just rubbed some brown shoe polish on the white Black white layer and it looks fairly convincing as “old”. You can’t make proper old style celluloid now as the chemical they used are noxious (I understand)

  17. If you check my jazz bass build thread that’s exactly what I used - be very careful about your choice of undercoat colour - good advice given in that thread by the folks on here. I found it on eBay - reliced up a treat @Useless amateur this was the seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331769206320 although this listing is for clear laquer

  22. Couldn’t you find your own head then ? I always find it just above my neck somewhat below the ceiling (or sky if outside). Maybe you were outside and they needed the flaming torches to help in the search ...,🤔

  24. My friend wouldn’t stop either - he was literally like a brother to me, much nicer than my actual brother and just what I wanted one to be. He was an only child and said the same thing. Still miss him now dead at 35
