  1. A Westfield Strat-style guitar in a translucent black finish. MOP Scrathplate Chrome hardware Rosewood Fingerboard Tremolo arm I'm hard pushed to call it a gig bag as it is super flimsy, but it is included Some minor dents that I've tried to show as well as I can in the photos. Please give me a shout if you need anymore info. Will post (buyer pays!)
  2. It didn’t really fit with the hardcore band I was playing in, but I didn’t listen to the drummer’s opinion on it. The pickup and the slim neck are great!
  3. Gig bag for Daisy Rock Heartbreaker or Daisy Bass. I’ve been told it’s a good fit for a banjo too, but I can’t confirm that myself. It’s purple, has big pockets and a bit of damage at the bottom. The zips work. Buyer pays for postage. Please see photos!
  4. Fantastic looking bass, chief! If I was long scaling it, I'd be bang up for it. Good luck with the sale!
  5. Thank you! I'll have a look into this.
  6. I'm being reasonable, I feel. It's in good nick but not a museum piece.
  7. *NOW SOLD* Daisy Rock Heartbreaker bass - 30" - Purple Sparkle Heart shaped basswood body, metallic purple finish with heart-shaped white MOP plate. Duncan Designed 'P' pickup and passive electronics Chrome hardware Maple neck/rosewood board w/heart-shaped MOP inlays From around 2002 Comes with purple gig-bag with shoulder straps and original allen keys. I've tried to show as much detail as I can in the photos and am happy to answer questions as best as I can. Love the shape of this and am sad to let it go.
  8. *Now SOLD pending the usual* Squier Vista Series MusicMaster Bass Black version from 1996 Original Vista Series pickup, original electronics In fact, all original apart from the scratchplate pictured but I will provide the original (white/parchment in colour) 30" scale length but through-body stringing means 32" scale length strings required. It's got a few blemishes and whatnot as you'd expect with its age, but have tried to capture everything as best as I can on the photos. Please get in touch if you need any other info.
  9. I have a 2005 USA Musicman S.U.B. that I bought from new. It’s had a couple of different scratch plates and pickup covers but, in my younger years, I played in a pretty raucous rock band and it got a bit beaten up. I’ve since got properly into short scale and also back into fretless playing so had a luthier friend make me a fretless neck to fit my SUB body to give me a short scale fretless. I love the scale, love playing fretless again and love the MM fretless sound. However, I have a spare SUB neck knocking about and don’t know whether or not to sell it on its own or put the SUB back together and sell it as a whole and get another body for my fretless neck. What in the heck would YOU do?!
  10. Thanks for the input! I agree that some of the designs are very cool and whatnot. The pricing just seems to be too low, if you know what I mean.
  11. Hiya! Has anyone any experience with J Douglas Basses? Is Mr/Mrs/Ms/Miss Douglas on BassChat, perhaps? I was just after a bit of feedback or a chat with them, to be honest. Cheers!
  12. Mike, sorry for not getting back sooner. They're not going to fit my bass but thanks for measuring.

  14. I sadly got rid of a Fenix Jazz and still think of it fondly.
  15. I’ve had two of these recently. A black one that I modded and a white(champagne?) that I moved on. The White was an earlier “FMIC” model with the bullet truss and it had much more of a precision neck but a heavier better toned body and the Black was a “Made in India”. I think the run after the FMIC as the pickguards had the same number of screw holes. The next run of these had the same pickguards as the first Encores but they all shared the same white pickups and string tree. I had the black one first, had a route put in for truss Rod access at the body where Chris at Overwater seemed to think the body was some kind of wood a bit like mahogany but not. I had a tort pickguard, Bill Lawrence split-p pickup and a circuit by Kiogon. They neck was slimmer on this one and felt way nicer to play, for me anyway. If I’d not done all the mods to it, I’d have put that neck on the white one and modded that one, to be honest. Anyway, I’ve since moved exclusively on to short scale and sold the black one to a pal in London. Great sounding basses though!! Here they are with my Musicman SUB (this is currently getting a fretless short scale neck on it)!
  16. I’ve been following this guy for a while too and really enjoy his quirky designs. Would I have one? If it’s headstock heavy it’s a massive no-no for me. Balanced correctly and I would have one.
  17. At last! Someone else who’s got one! I never got on with it either. I can’t find anything on the net about them.
