  6. Bought Dave's Mesa Subway amp earlier this month with a fantastic deal. Once again confirmation of a really really really top guy. Takes care of his gear, superb communications, well packed, promptly shipped, even better than described, and great community spirit. A truly upstanding member here. Highly recommended once again. (did I also mention he builds excellent cables too - I look nowhere else now for all cable solutions I just go straight to Dave). Very happy customer once again. Thank you.
  7. Guys, I think you're overlooking the added versatility of this fantastic item... (I'm in no way sponsored or affiliated with this amazing product by the way)... But consider if you need to get some washing up done at a gig and don't have any sponges to hand... viola, two problems solved!
  8. 'Invisible security mark' to prevent fraudulent returns....!

  11. I also believe that the headphone out has a speaker emulation involved too: it does sound very good!

  13. Kingstons tend to be 35" scale, except for the Saratoga which is 34". MTD's can be either (535 = 35" 5 string, 634 = 34" 6 string). I know he prefers the 35" scale when working with a low B, but MTDs are custom built, so they do crop up as 34" and 35" spec; though he tends to know what works and builds to that, meaning they are much more standardised than say Fodera or other customer luthiers that let you play with every aspect of specification. This way you always know you are getting a great MTD, and the woods really play a role...
  14. Hi, yeah, pretty similar in my experience. Save the bridge placement. On the 35" scale Kingston's the bridge isn't as close to the end of the body as they are on the MTD's this makes the first fret feel about another inch away. Other than that they have very similar ergonomics, and share the asymmetrical neck etc. Nice basses, though the USA MTD's have something wonderful.
  15. danovici03 just bought my Mayonnes Jabba with a superb and flawless transaction. I know he's relatively new here at the moment, but he really is a great basschatter. Excellent communications, very friendly and an all round great guy. He's got other friends on the forum and clearly has great taste in basses. Trade in confidence folks, he gets my recommendation.
