Hi, it's fretted and yes: rosewood, my apologies I will edit the listing. The previous owner was adamant it was ebony and the board is very dark for rosewood, so I too was convinced. Thank you for a good spot. 😊

These are awesome! Never letting mine go. I've got it hooked up to an external laptop battery that slides into the handle. Makes it super portable and lasts over 5 hours. Very loud for the size. GLWTS.
