Hi, thanks for your interest: Bass weighs: 8lb 15oz = 4kg. It balances really well so feels even lighter. The photos are stock, but are of the actual bass (I believe Bassdirect took them when they only had this one in stock) I can take additional photos tomorrow if you like (when the light is better). The bass is mint and this is a bargain for sure. 😊

These are seriously good fun. Used with headphones for quiet practice or with in ear monitors at gigs. It allows you to feel the bass, but it's indistinguishable from actually hearing it. Makes you feel that you've got a super stack behind you and blasting sound out at a festival. Certainly helps keep timing in check, and saves your ears by allowing you to play at lower ear volumes.

Up for a reluctant sale is my fretted 6 string USA hand built MTD. A very rare and increadible bass here in very good condition. Comes complete with MTD hard case. The bass has the upgraded MTD world logo and laminated rear of headstock, with matching headstock and heel. The fretboard is wonderfully figured, as is the body with fantastic woods used. Bass is located in Kent, UK. This bass has makore/rescued-from-lake-bottom-redwood body and a maple/ebony neck and the custom options that have the biggest sonic are the acoustic chambers that make this a 'Marilyn' and the Ghost piezo bridge. All very minor and the bass is still most stunning in every way.
