A rare white USA Sub Stingray 5 bass complete with original MusicMan hard-case. Not to be confused with other models, this is the full-fat born in the USA version. Slab body and painted neck, 2 EQ, with Mirror Pick-guard. The neck and overall condition of the bass is excellent, a very very clean example which has been well looked after. These SUB 5 USA models are quality basses made alongside Stingrays in the USA Ernie Ball factory in San Louis Obispo, with the same kind of quality and tone as the Stingray series, but at much less cost. The series was discontinued rather quickly, as they were affecting Stingray sales. This bass is in excellent condition, with only a couple of minor marks on the body and the tip of the neck (photographed). The mirror pick-guard has been modded, so is not 100% flush with the heel of the neck, but is barely noticeable, even up close. The black MusicMan hard-case is in good condition, with some light marks from some light use. The bass is located in Folkestone, Kent. Free local pick-up, or insured mainland UK shipping for £34. Yes indeed, I won't kiss and tell, but it is still within the brother/sister-hood of BassChat - thankfully. It really is rather special, and exceptionally versatile, nice and light, great tone, and extremely playable.

Cheers Lee-Man they are indeed great basses. And highly underrated, probably because there aren’t that many out there and very rare to come up on the second hand market. This one is pretty much immaculate. And I’m fantastic wood finishes. The pick guard is even made from wood! The electronics are also sublime.

Cracking bass, fantastic spec. Sivcak is an incredible builder. I believe it’s a roasted and rubbed neck. The photos don’t quite do it justice. The pick ups are now upgraded to Nordstrands, and there’s a spare black pearlescent pick guard with it too!
