1. Wow, absolute bargain - any purchaser can't lose on this surely!?
2. Used to own a Pangborn but not a Warlord - very lovely, very desirable, very rare. I don't play long scale basses much, but if I played 'em more, I'd have this. Now
3. I had one of these - they feel light and balance beautifully. The neck looks about right to me too - superbly comfortable and playable

Absolutely love this - unique, cool and bespoke - just wish I could afford it. Have a bump for a thing of beauty!
5. As fine an example of bass-related industrial design as one might find. I've wanted one of these for ages but I'm giving-up on long-scale. Beautiful condition and in my opinion, a great price
6. Add Avalon and Millennia for pres
7. Beautiful but is it Daphne rather than sonic (not always easy to tell in images)?
8. this looks lovely to me and excellent quality (I'd assume) for the price.
9. I've not taken a forensic or scientific look but anecdotally, it appears that a lot of Foderas appear for sale second hand. Some where the seller has a number of Foderas and is purchasing another/new bass of the same brand, but many where the owner is getting out of Fodera ownership. I was in the latter camp - I sold the one Fodera I've owned to buy an alternative very high-end bass. The Fodera was very well built from great timbers - it played well and the tone was even/strong but without distinctive character. The bass just wasn't for me - rigid, 'big' and not really fun to play (all very personal of course). Worth the money? The US buyer thought so and I made a good few quid - 'makes a change!
10. Very very lovely indeed - how many of these are going to come up? A lot of dosh certainly, but the first and last word in vintage tone
11. Used to have one of these - truly top end stuff and really pokey for a 1x12. Light with small footprint - better for jazz or theatres than full-on rock in my experience but versatile at the clean and uncoloured end of the spectrum
12.
Wish I'd bought this when it went up for sale!!!
I've just put it down - it looks every bit as good in the corner as it does in those pics - just outstanding in every way!
13. For me, the best combo on the planet - unbelievably good (not sure about the re-styled facia but this is purely cosmetic)
14. This really is a bargain, to mirror my earlier comment, these are amongst the very best relics I've seen or played. Don't be fooled by the relatively low price - amazing playability and tone with construction and attention to detail that is beyond CS IMO.
15. Love these - they have a unique tone and can be very aggressive - listen to some old PFM (convinced me to buy one as a kid)
16. The black oblong is a coil - effectively an inactive pickup between the two low impedance pickups. It's there to eliminate hum (it works). You'll see this on most SI and SII instruments, though it can be embedde under a full-face laminate (I believe)
17. The best Fender I've ever owned or played (and that's a massive amount!) is a Limelight. Buy this and be delighted.
18. Borrowed one of these cabs for a gig in a little blues club in Manchester around 30 years ago - with my Trace Series 6 head and Status SII, the best live bass tone I've ever had or heard - 'punched beautifully formed bass-holes in the back wall.

Not at all my favourite colour but as a US Spector player, I'm entirely confident that this is a fantastic player with the tone and ergonomics one would expect of the brand
20. BOOM! love it but couldn't carry it. Just awe inspiring
21. Steviebee - very lovely indeed! I particularly like the tort guard. Frozen bridges aside (a minor irritation and an easy fix) I'm getting more convinced these are superb basses. The relicing is frighteningly good but Limelights are brilliant players with very authentic tone. I've never been able to get the action down so low on a Fender as I can on the Limelight J. Stunning value
22. Amazing deal for a very beautiful bass - if I had the dosh...
23. My saddles too came from eBay - about a tenner and very nicely done. The bridge is a small gripe as the bass is phenomenal overall - I'll write a full review when I have a chance but for now, I'd say that if you were thinking of buying a relic, Limelight are for me, the highest quality and best value by far.
