Great piece of music, and the vocals are ace! You are 'Firebreathing-Glitterball-Oak-Folk'
You wanted dodgy so here's dodgy. This is my band, Asedya, at The Night & Day Manchester. Our penultimate gig with our drummer, we are currently drummer-less. Filmed on someone's i-phone. We didn't realise we were being filmed. Little bit drunk, few mistakes, good energy. My band will prob kill me for sharing, and putting on youtube, but nevermind. (not full songs)
They're alright man! I didn't really notice any mistakes, just the odd timing error coming in with the drummer. The first one's the best of the two. Good song and well performed.
Nicely shot Found a crazy train.
Very good cover indeed!
Amazingly shot phone footage of a first run through with no mics & 15w practice amps. I was impressed with how well this came out
Really lovely mate, and that looks like a very pleasant way to rehearse

It's not my kinda thing, but it's good man. Well played. My feeling is the tempo should be increased by about 10 bpm, I found it a little dirgey. It's good though.
Hi all This year we made an overall profit of £360. Several suggestions have been made about who to give the proceeds to and the 3 chosen charities this year will each receive a donation according to the poll. Whoever comes out with the most votes will receive £250 (more tax efficient!), second most popular will get £60 and third will get £50 donation. Please only vote if you attended or contributed to the Bash, as it was all of you who gave the money. Being an Admin, I can see who casts a vote - so if you vote but didn't donate by attending (or sending in a cash gift) I will delete the vote. Simples. Cheers Colin & Nik
Eek, sorry Colin, I voted and shouldn't have.

I had a SSS Jazz, it was a great bass. I paid £90 about 13 years ago. I think I'd happily pay around a couple of hundred now.

I agree with Jack, and not only but also, I don't dig on the blues much so I can't really effuse about it. But it's very good, she has a great voice your singer. Sweet playing all round
Voted. My track has had 49 views. You don't know how happy that makes me! I'm sorry for those expecting something good but the fact it has been listened to is supurb It is the most listened to track on my soundcloud page! All the entries are great (including yours Bilbo) and I think this is a fantastic idea.
It's a real kick isn't it It's very gratifying that people take the time to listen. And mate, don't do yourself down, we are all at different levels of accomplishment, and diverse in our musical interests. I like playing lots of instruments and getting a kick out of making my own music and I can play to a reasonable level, but on bass Jake Newman makes me feel like driving a little pale blue three wheeler. It is only EVER about the music, and you can make it with a bag of compost and a cake tin if it represents your soul.
Any excuse to post them again. :-) Working script ideas for the next one ATM...
I reckon you should go for a Hallowe'en Benny Hill theme The Benny Hills Have Eyes.
The promo video for "StickyPants Trance" by Dick Venom & The Terrortones. (Can be considered NSFW) And two songs from a recent gig at The Fiddler's Elbow in London - "Lilly & The Killers" and "Invasion Of The SpiderQueen"
I've seen these two before, brilliant!

I have another thread with this in, but it makes sense to add it here. It's from Oxjam Chiswick last Saturday.
Cheers for your comments, I'm going to have to borrow the Ann Widdicombe comment.... The Bass is a Warwick streamer standard.
Ah of course it's a Standard, it's the forerunner of the Rock Bass. I had one exactly like it a few months ago.
Here we are having fun at a festival this summer:
I really like that! Where are you hiding? Bez is funny
Had a bit of a thread going about how these guys managed to do a video and make it so unspectacular in what was a pretty amazing setting. The final cut is saved by the fact that a woman with big bazookas starts shaking them about on the dance floor. She winked at me too And the guitarist EQ'd the sound hence the loud guitar. Apart from that... Note: features slapping in parts (only cos it was in the original)
Great band mate! Faultless performance. You need to hang on to that singer, she's awesome! Good mix, guitar's fine, drums are a tad loud. I'm very impressed!
As the header says, show us your band video's. From dodgy phone footage to slick pro jobs, anything goes. I'll show you mine if you show me yours..........Ah bugger it I'll show you mine first! A bit between dodgy phone footage and slick editing here's Abandoned Stars - Beyond Reason.
That is very good indeed! I am partial to a slice of prog metal. The mix is not deep enough for me to get the full rush, I think the high pass filter may have been a little Ann Widdicombe. BUT, otherwise, it's wicked! I love the parts with the clean guitar arpeggios, LUSH. You get a very nice tone from that German Warwick Rock Bass. Excellent mate!
Would love to do a 'proper' mix of your version of Walking on The Moon Nigel, I've loved that song for a very very long time.....
I doubt we'll ever record it mate, it was just a bit of fun for this gig really. Kit suggested it in rehearsal a couple of weeks ago, and we pretty much bashed it out, Kit changed a couple of the bridge chords and we played through it a few times. It's fun to do, great song, I love The Police.
Really well written stuff, tasteful string arrangements. very nice matey

Very nicely played. Nice to see a band making the effort to use live strings, too.
Thanks guys! Kit's great at scoring strings, it's an intrinsic part of the sound of the band.

Video - Awesome band, bassist and my God, the bass face!
I think it's a shining example of a bass player wanting to fit in the mix, rather than punch through it or sit on top of it. I can hear all the notes just fine.
Same here. He is such a refreshing change. Totally at ease with what he's playing, great tone, great musicality. Not many people like him around. -
Ok... I'm gonna be the first grumpy one. I wish he (the bass player) focused more on making each note sound right and not playing that many notes. And, by the way, I hate the bass tone. Don't like the drummer either. I really like the guitarist and, specially, the keyboard player.
This guy makes every note count! It's his true way. It's his dharma. He is THE sh*t! Great band, all the focus is on music and happiness. -
That's a promise

I just added a cover we did for a bit of fun of Walking on the Moon - it's in the OP
