  1. Haha boys - thanks very much. The BBNE2 IS a wonderful instrument; as bassfan knows having tried it out and taken an instant like to it. And obviously you're both clearly not finding the hardware "bling" too off-putting (or I suspect in bassfan's case positively atractive - lol!)[1] I'll have to 'fess to recently turning down a very tempting offer for it recently from another chap who was after one in the same finish in the "items wanted" section: but I kinda worked out that I would have instant seller's regret, particularly as I had waited six months for one in white to turn up. So nope, mine's not going to be up for sale any time soon... What I am still waiting from Yammy is their BB735A with a neck through and individual bridge pieces - a P/J sister of the J/J BBNE2. There would be no hesitation in getting my plastic out for that Yamaha, if you're listening, particularly if you made one in white 😀 [1] But there again some folk are willing to pay extra for their basses to look like beaten up cra*p ("relic'd" I think they're called), so they can pretend to be 'cool', but each to their own eh? 😛
  2. Another +1 for the BB1025. Been in my herd for a year now (I think I managed to get myself the very last end of line one in white from the Yammy store in London, egged on by young Cameron... ). It's an excellent bass. There's a black used BB1025X (X => with pic guard, that's the only difference) in the FS on at half your budget.
  3. Or instead of waiting for Fender to play catch up, you could just buy this instead, which pretty much has all the extra goodies you're after and a lot more besides (just sayin' )
  4. Available from Musik Productiv at £109 A little clip (demo'd with a great bass ) showing several of the new EXH pedal releases at NAMM 2019
  5. PS none of the low B's on my 34" scale basses (Yammys and Ibbys) feel floppy.
  6. Agreed and if the Schecter Model T had a 3 band EQ it would be very tempting. The Yammy BB735A does have that feature, which is partly why I guess you did hit "buy now" on that one
  7. That does look REALLY good! 👍
  8. I thought you already had a back up Para Driver? 😄
  9. Nah yours was about the C4 which is a pedal that's gonna mess with your head. At least Danny's is on the Spectrum. ... Oooh the name of this pedal takes me back a few decades to the launch of PCs. I think it was called the ZX Spectrum... 😄 But unless this new digital SA offering surpasses the MXR BEF, Fwonkbeta or 3Leaf GR2 as a filter or the FI as a synth it won't be tempting my credit card from its wallet...and from that YouTube clip it doesn't seem to come close. Be interested to see if other folk agree with that assessment and / or if anyone actually buys one.
  10. No he didn't: Paul knows precisely to whom his duty lies. And so should you. Si repeat after me: das forum uber alles!
  11. Oof! If new V2s are coming on at £1069 (and new V1s soon be out of stock), then I can't see that putting too much pressure on used V1 prices at their current circa £650 mark. Ok I guess that's good news as an existing DG M900 owner, less so if you're looking to get a V2.
  12. It's ok Paul, we will all still love you as a human being. You don't need to feel crushed by this one failure.
  13. I can engage / disengage the drive with the basic "intelligent" footswitch. Doesn't require super intelligence, which is fortunate as I am a very long way short! 😄
  14. Which would imply nothing more than the footswitch then...
  15. Ok let's test the proposition that "Cuzzie likes Yammy basses" So you have exactly how many Yammy basses currently? The year you last owned a Yammy bass was when? 😛
  16. I'm with Andy on this one (again)! I think Yammy must have been on an away-day sharing design ideas with Aria and Markbass.
  17. Speaking of dubious taste, not sure why you're on this thread - you don't even like Yamaha basses!! Be off with you now, young man, to your fizzy dUg pedal realm 😛
  18. You're very clever Mr Gisser. (No seriously, that was genuine and from a bloke who HAS bought you a beer...) Now can we please discuss dUg Pinnick please? I like it when those thread police turn up with their blue flashy light things...
  19. Cheers Chris, I'm going to buy a swanky new £2k bass and sell a couple of small pedals for £25 to £35 apiece. Job done and back in the game! 😂
  20. I've checked the manual. It doesn't do a full English.
  21. Hah - you've got me gassing for a Hotone now (and I've got a Helix Stomp - lol). I've got my Helix on my main board and I was thinking of setting up a little mini board for rehearsals when I can't be doing with the faff of taking a lot of gear out. But looking at the Hotone that frankly could be the mini board! Lol!
  22. Good spot Eude! I did see this a couple of days back and meant to mention, but you beat me to it so thanks for adding to the thread, appreciated. (I've now also included a reference to the hotone in the OP so that we can widen the discussion out).
  23. Size indeed matters! When it comes to pedals, anyway. 😄
