  2. If I didn’t already have the same bass without the mods, I would be snapping this up. Bargain. Out of interest, what year?
  3. Seen this in the flesh. Amazing bass. Plays beautifully. Christian is a gentleman - only issue is he has brilliant basses and he lives around the corner - can't be good for my wallet. Haha. GLWTS. David
  4. And then I woke up. Haha. Bass like that was never going to hang around. Oh well, maybe next Christmas.
  5. Wow indeed. Want it. Need it. May even sell my keeper Wal pro to afford it.
  6. Just to say I have one of Mark's 6 string basses, and the neck and electronics are indeed amazing. Mine was unfortunately fatally wounded in transit but I patched it up and enjoy it in the privacy of my home. Good luck.
  7. Hi, being more precise the scale is 32.5ins and the string spacing is probably more like 18mm. This was custom made for Rick Kennell (Happy the Man). It can be heard on their album, Crafty Hands, I think. Thanks. David
  8. For sale or trade, a 1999 Rick Turner Renaissance 4 string fretted. Serial no: 1062. Thin line/chambered body 18v Timberline system Hipshot D tuner 32 inch scale String spacing 17mm at bridge Weight 4.5lb! Comes with top notch Ameritage hard case (retail price 447 USD) Condition excellent. A few small scratches and indents on back and sides some of which will steam out. No fret wear. Needs new strings but I will add a set of used TI Acousticores. I am the second owner. I bought this in 2003 when I was in New York. Quite rare over here. A new one would set you back c. 3000 dollars. The Bass Gallery just sold a 5 string fretless version. It was listed at £1500. So imho, this is another David1711 bargain. This is high quality and the sound is amazing. Deserves to be recorded with. I am only contemplating parting with it because there is a bass on here that I want and I already own too many. If that goes I will likely withdraw so if anyone is interested you need to move fast. Located near St Albans. Thanks for looking and as before, sorry for the rubbish pictures. David
  9. Superb. Just acquired a JB5 v2 which is quality, so I can only imagine how good this luxury range bass must be. Good luck.
  10. UPS affiliated couriers come and collect from your home. All you need is to get a quote, agree price with buyer, get some cardboard, bubble wrap and brown tape, and bobs your....and with a hard case, no sweat. Blades are fantastic instruments. £500 is about right. Should fly out the door. Good luck.
  11. I have the exact same bass without the preamp upgrade and it's brilliant. Great value for money. Good luck.
  12. This bass is now on hold until Tuesday. Thanks, David
  13. Amazing and an absolute bargain. Did you take a knock on the head with all that construction😆 Good luck but you won't need any.
  14. Hi, this bass is on hold now until tomorrow. Thanks. David.
  15. Thanks. Just have to work out how to find that database.
  16. It is indeed. Must change my prescription. No 913. Now if I can only fathom out how to locate the database on Statti, I might be able to identify it! Thank you kind sir.
  17. Yes, exactly, two piece, lacewood. This bass has never been on eBay. The exact same model was though about a year ago. The finish above the neck pick up was almost down to the wood and overall my bass is in much better condition than that one.
  18. For sale or trade this active/passive graphite Status Matrix 4 string bass....I think, or is it an Empathy? Any Status experts out there that can advise? Price £850 for sale, £900 trade value. 1990s but as no serial number is to be found, I can't be more definitive. I bought this in 2003. Condition is as then which is reasonable but there are a number of lacquer dings/scratches, two of which are quite big and are shown. Bridge also has some light wear. Everything works as it should. This amazing bass has a carbon graphite composite thru neck, phenolic fretboard, 24 frets, and 35 inch scale. String spacing at the bridge is 18mm and the weight is approx 9lbs. Tone is crystal clear and the action is low and level from 1st to 24th fret. Comes with a Status padded gig bag. Postage is extra at cost and to be discussed. The price reflects the condition. Not seen a similar Status for less than £1000 and some go for much more. So if you want to grab a quality Status for well under a grand, look no further! I am located in Hertfordshire, near St Albans. Thanks for looking and please pm me if any further details required or need correcting, for which muchos Gracias! David
  19. For sale or trade, this Tobias Killer B 5 String bass, made in 1997 in the US, serial no 4814. This is active/passive with EMG pickups, 24 frets, 35 ins scale, 17mm string spacing at the bridge. Weight is approx 9.5lbs. Condition is good for a bass of this age, but there are a number of small lacquer dings/scratches, a small Nick in the top of the headstock and the bridge has some wearing as can be seen. The neck is smooth and the action can be set very low. Preamp frequencies can be reset and there is a wide variety of tones available. Comes with the Tobias hard case shown. Postage extra at cost and to be discussed. I bought this bass in 2002 for £1200 pre used not being aware of the pre and post Gibson factor. You live and learn! This is my first such advert so please be gentle and apologies for the lousy photos. I have bought 2 basses from this amazing forum and sold one so I have some feedback. I have more to sell. I am located in Hertfordshire near St Albans so very accessible if you live in the South East. Thanks for looking and do please pm me if you need any further information. David
