1.
Hi, I think I'm looking for peace of mind really.I have an Orange AD200B, which after a 4hr rehearsal felt quite hot. Not so hot that you can't keep your hand on the grille above the valves, but warm enough to have me type this "I'm a bit unsure"t thread. I can hear the fan running, it's very quiet or I'm a bit deaf. I'm playing through a Barefaced Compact or Midget. One cab is enough for rehearsals, so it's one 8 ohm load plugged into the correct 8 ohm speaker outputput. Master at 10 O'clock, gain at 2 O'clock and the eq at ; trebble 2 O'clock, bass 10 O'clock, mid 10 O'clock) How warm do your valve amps run, and how long do you wait before putting them in the flight case? I love the full sound of this amp, amp gas is cured. Cheers, Phil.
Hi Phil Glad you're enjoying the amp. I was never concerned with the heat from the amp when I used it and it was totally reliable in all the time that I had it. As I said, the only reason I sold it was because of the weight.
 2. Thanks gents. I'm quite surprised there hasn't been more interest but then again it isn't a Fender. I'm not in a hurry to sell though so not a problem.
 3. Sorry mate, I've just seen this but no thanks.
 4. Well noticed, If I remember correctly it's a rubber bit from a 9v duracell battery that was sitting on top. I only noticed it after taking the pics.
 5. Yes, mate, I've just put it back up for sale after withdrawing it.
 6. It's with a heavy heart that I'm putting my Washburn Stu Hamm Custom AB-40SH acoustic bass up for sale but it's a case of use it or lose it. I searched high and low for a Bass of this quality for my acoustic band and finally found this. I had it shipped in from the USA as I've not seen one of these on UK shores and it's been worth every single cent I paid for it. Anyway my band is no more so this has to go, it's wasted sitting around in it's case and needs to be played. It's packed with features not normally found on an acoustic bass, the full list is below but if you have any questions, just ask. Washburn worked side-by-side with a true bass guitar legend to produce the AB40SH Stu Hamm Signature Acoustic Bass. The bass has a fully intonatable bridge, allowing for even intonation throughout the entire fingerboard. It's perfect for those who want tone, playability, and acoustic amplification without the intrusion of feedback. Washburn AB40 Stu Hamm Acoustic Electric Bass Features:

Arched spruce top
Arched maple back
Maple sides
Mahogany neck
Rosewood fretboard
Custom Stu Hamm yin-yang bass clef inlays
Multi-lam binding
Intonatable monorail bridge
Grover tuners
Custom piezo electronics
Buzz Feiten Tuning System
The acoustic bass features an arched spruce top, arched maple back, maple sides, and a mahogany neck for a full, balanced tone that swells from the oval soundhole and through the custom piezo electronics. The rosewood fretboard, multi-laminate binding, intonatable monorail bridge, and Grover tuners continue the strength in construction not regularly seen in an acoustic electric bass crossover. The Washburn Stuart Hamm bass is equipped with the Buzz Feiten tuning system, a tempered tuning formula, which uses a compensated nut and saddle to correct the inherent intonation problems of the Western tuning formula.
 7.
We always take our camper-van to most of our gigs, so a lot of food/booze/magazines e.t.c Mostly we always try and make an event out of our gigs, as most of our weddings are on Saturday evenings, we drive up the night before, party in the local town, then head to the gig the next day. Then sleep over. Makes the weekend awesome.
I like this approach.
 8. PRICE NOW £95 Buying this seemed like a good idea at the time but I never use it so it's up for sale. I've just bought a new RAAD PSU for it which I'll include with the sale. Comes with box and manual. Any questions, just ask.
 9. I wouldn't mind this if I sold my AD200B
 10. I was thinking about selling my Orange AD200B (again) and replacing it with one of these. It's just come round at the wrong time for me. GLWTS
 11. Hi Paul, nice meeting you last night. P.S, I want this Bass.
 12.
Do you ever find that your rig is too loud for certain situations?
It's never too loud, I play in a rock band. I test the volumes during setup and set the volume control usually around the ten o'clock mark and then use my Guitar volume control from then onwards for tweaking as the gig progresses.
 13. I currently play my AD200B through a Barefaced Super Twelve and it sings. Every note is defined crisp and clear, it handles any setting the amp can throw at it and it's loud enough for any gig I'm ever going to do. In saying that, I am hankering for a 69'er
 14. I'm playing at The New Inn tonight so when you get lost pop in there :-) I haven't played the Tap and Barrel yet but we're booked in to play there in the New Year. Let us know how it goes (if you find it)
 15. Bargain, I own two Japanese Prestige Ibanez's but none as nice as this one. They are a pleasure to play
 16. Shameless plug - I'm sort of selling my Orange AD200B here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222096-orange-ad200b-mk-3-for-trade-or-sale/page__fromsearch__1 I say sort of because to be honest I don't know what I'd replace it with. My only gripe with it is the weight.
 17. Bump As heavy as this amp is, I just know I'm going to have a big grin of my face at tonights gig when it fires up.
 18. Decided to put this back up for sale/trade as I really do need something lighter. It's a quality amp and hasn't missed a beat since the day I bought it. Looking to trade or sell my Orange AD200B Mk 3. I've only had this for around 6 months (edited) and the guy I bought it from had only used it a few times so this is in "as new" condition. Spent all of it's life in a Quality Hardcase which will be included in the sale/trade. The only reason I'm selling is due to me putting my back out so need something lighter to cart about. Trade wise I'm thinking Little Mark Tube 800 or similar, although try me with any quality lightweight amp. As you can see from the pics it's the Black tolex version of this famous amp. 19.
Close to Frankfurt. Trades might be an option. I just dont need such a big amp anymore.
That's a shame. I was just about to offer up my Orange AD200B Mk3
