I've got gas for a MarkBass combo/rig as I'm sick of carting around my Ashdown rig. So here's the start of my clear-out fundraising.

This is my gorgeous Bass Collection SB320 fretless bass. I'm looking for £250 for this rare gem plus postage (possibly £25 via insured Interparcel or you can arrange a courier yourself).

Made in Japan in 1988 I believe (if I read the serial number right - it certainly feels this old).

Active with upgraded pickups installed by a previous owner. I don't know what they are unfortunately they but pack a good punch, are noiseless and sound great.

See-through wine red Japanese sen body.

Maple neck, ebony fretboard.

Weight: 7lbs 4oz

Super-super slim neck, one of the slimmest, easy-to-play necks on a bass ever in my opinion. Neck has side dots but the fretboard is a lovely black slab of ebony.

I added the gold and abalone knobs not long after I bought it (£40 they cost!)

Pretty damn good condition considering its age. Some buckle-rash on the back and various marks around the body. Hopefully the pics show this. You can't really see any of them at distance of a couple of feet.

It's currently strung with Rotosound Trubass 88 nylon-wound strings. I took it for a proper setup when I put these strings on and haven't touched it since. Action is high-ish to allow for a more double-bass type feel (that's what I though at the time but I don't play the double bass!)

You can hear what it sounds like here: https://soundcloud.c...stery-and-magic

I can take closer pics of any part of it, just shout.

Collection is always preferred, I'm based in Bristol BS3. You can then get to try it out! And maybe some of my others that I'll be putting up soon too :) You can even pop round for a try if you like, no obligation to buy. I'm happy to talk bass over a coffee or beer any time.

Cash or bank transfer preferred. I really don't like Ebay and PayPal or their policies. UK sales only I'm afraid, I'm a little nervous about shipping it out of the country. I do have a proper bass box for this to go in to post it and I'll coat the inside with balled-up newspaper and will most likely bubble-wrap the bass too.

Trades - well the primary purpose is to get cash for MarkBass CMD 121 combo but do try me. Basses or MarkBass stuff preferred but hey, cash is still number one :)

Ooops, sorry, forgot it was a Flash gallery.

These should work better than the gallery above. You can click on them and view them full size too (on the Flickr page, click on the 3 horizontal dots on the right hand side which should give you a menu to download/view all sizes).
