1. http://youtu.be/kcyB1tfrjkc In all fairness, you should really listen to the actual single which is way better than this performance. http://youtu.be/S_JQWKcEoP4
2.
They all sound the same.
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!
3. Problem solved then. Isn't freedom of choice wonderful?
4. You are SO not going to play this sitting down. I have to say that I love the over-sized cogs on the tuners ... that's an idea with some mileage in it.
5. Someone left the cake out in the rain ...
6. Shouldn't this thread be in Items Wanted?
7. Rhythm bass is bloody hard work when you try to do it live.
8. Otherwise, I'd be tempted. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1960-039-s-Hagstrom-8-String-Bass-Cherry-Red-All-Original-Original-Case-/391333986214?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
9. Cheap old semi-acoustic, maybe a Commodore: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-guitar-Commadore-/181954282551

11. Outstanding! Enjoyed that a lot.
12.
I like the Korg Pitchblack nice and easy to see very accurate
This. The display is very clear indeed and can be seen under any stage lighting conditions. The mute switch is completely silent (no pops, even with valve amps). And it has a 9V output socket ... if you only use one non-battery fx pedal on your board, then you can daisy-chain it from the Pitchblack and effectively (see what I did there?) turn it into a battery-powered pedal.
13. Just looked at Google Maps. Why did no one tell me it's opposite Watford Naturist Swimming Club?
14. I'm guessing the album cover will be a selfie ...
15. Yup, you need a lot of patience to sell a high-end bass these days.
16. The jury is still out on Maxwell's Silver Hammer, mind.
17. Judging by the grain and a slight change of tone/colour (looking at the rear photo) I'd say you're right, but it looks like a very nice piece of work. Doesn't alter the fact that it's still ultimately a bass uke, mind.

21.
I would blame autocorrect, but surely that would've auto corrected 'eaisy'.
In that case, what's a "guitrist"?
22.
Jack Bruce was an uber-widdler, and to absolutely great effect in Cream. He was the defining musician in that band. Without him, his playing, singing and songs they'd have just been yet another blues band.
Bloody jazzers ...
