1. Back from holiday make me an offer bump
2. Photos can follow if needed, but I have the following for sale; Diago Tourman - good condition: £60 [s]Ibanez PM7 Phaser - used condition: £30 £25[/s] WITHDRAWN [s]Danelectro Rocky Road - used condition: £20[/s] Delivery / Collection only for the pedalboard please (and preferable for the pedals) - Central / North London - otherwise please add £5 to the pedals for delivery. Thanks
3. Have a look at Watersish.com for a breakdown of his gear - he definitely had sunburst p-basses, rosewood and maple, at one time or another
4.
The Stompblox system looks interesting, although I'd want to check how sturdy (picking it up etc) the whole thing is with say 4 or 6 of them connected, full of pedals. Si
Personally I don't think I'd ever use more than 2, but it allows me to switch them around. Another cool thing is that the carry bags zip together so you don't have to take them apart to transport them
5. Did he use flats? Listening to live recordings I thought it was rounds...
6. I've had this thought - I have 'essential' pedals for all gigs, and then a 'modulation' board just for one band - I also have a guitar board which overlaps with some of the modulation ones. I've recently come across Stompblox which is a modular system - no one is distributing over here, but I'll be in the US in a couple of weeks so will get some and report back
7. I've an occasional Floyd covers band (which mostly comes out for mates' parties) and am in Megadeaf - Early Megadeth only (nothing beyond rust in peace) - we do wigs but not quite an authentic tribute as we have a female singer. Good fun, bloody hard on the picking hand! And I'm itching to do Tommy - got the band, just need a gig
8. Precision Lyte - jazz neck, strat body and P/J pickups (but blend 100% to the P if that's what you want)
9. Why not defret it rather than trade for a fretless? I've a fretless Lyte and it's a great little bass
10. I have to say, I've been playing for 25 years and last year me and some mates from school put together a Megadeth covers band (Megadeaf!)- Holy Wars is the hardest thing I've ever played, the end section is relentless. Good luck!
