1.
Can you personally deliver near GU47 9RW
Can possibly get close - PM'd
2.
All my basses are hung on String Swing hangers, no problems at all.
Same with me.
3. Final-short-term-price-drop-shift-it-for-2014-to £270!!
4. The Immersion live recordings from '74 are fantastic - love the bass playing on that
5. Very different - more of a standard gig bag, quite well padded, and with quite a handy detachable rucksack on the front. But it also doesn't compare on cost to the Mono double bag...
6. Central London - Camden / West End - any trips planned this way...? Cheers
7. I bought this from Bass Direct, but it's just not for me, I prefer my Ritter. Bass Direct will refund me, but to save myself another postage charge, I'd prefer to do a London meet-up. It's not been out the house, still have the box. Thanks
8. I got my Lyte in 1989, still playing it, great basses. I read once that the bodies were made from spare strats, so laid my strat on top to measure and they are pretty much identical
9. Rob's played a lot with them - great player robinmullarkey.com
10.
Unfortunately not mate! Discount may be given to those who will to collect.
Just a little too far (by about 100 miles or so) Cheers
11. I'm not sure of the difference between the Focus and Shuttle range, but I've a shuttle 2x10 for sale on the site if that's of interest...
12. And this is how GAS takes over - I was looking at boards, and am now looking at boards plus a Mono gig bag ;-) Cheers
13. Funnily enough, the split is quite natural - when they're all together on the Jr, it's pretty much top row vs bottom row. It's that I use the top row 90% of the time and the bottom only 20%. And I have enough to carry about, so any weight saved is a bonus!
14. I play in a couple of bands, and have my 'core' pedals that I pretty much use for all (Tuner, Compressor, Octave, Overdrive, Filter), and my 'effects' that I use with just one band (Phase, Fuzz, Tremolo, Freeze, Delay). I can just about squeeze them all on my Pedaltrain Jr. But I don't need them all for each gig - I borrowed a friend's PT mini for just the core ones and it was great, but for my next gig I have to put them all back on the Jr. I could split them into a Mini plus a Nano board, or 2 Minis, but that's then more to carry. I had a hope that I could fit 2 Mini boards in my Jr bag, but they're too long. Does anyone know of any modular pedal board systems? I was thinking something like 2 minis that be used separately or can clip together and carried in a single case. (I emailed Pedaltrain to check if they're planning something like this, not heard back yet...) Anyone dealing with the same issue? Any suggestions (that don't involve too much DIY and stitching a new soft case)? Cheers
15.
The Hercules hanger holding my precision decided to detach itself from the wall suddenly last night, damaging the bass as it smashed into the floor. That was fixed into brick with screws & plugs - f*** knows how it came away. Won't be using wall hangers anymore.
Oh wow - sorry to hear that. StringsDirect recommended a Hercules one, but suggested using heavier screws and plugs than supplied...
