2. Unfortunatley due to unforseen circumstances I have to offer this up for sale again. I recently purchased this from another basschatter. Its in the same condition as i bought it in - perfect and plays a dream. It really does gut me to have to sell this but needs must. NOT LOOKING FOR TRADES THIS TIME Specs:

Alder body with tone chambers
Dingwall's Candy Blueberry colour, as used on the Lee Sklar basses
Maple neck - satin finish
Pau Ferro fretboard - 34.25" - 32" scale
Pearl Blocks
Novax® Fanned -Fret System™
Super Fatty pickups
Glockenklang Preamp - Volume (p/p active/passive), Pickup selector, Treble (tone in passive mode), Bass
Chrome Custom Bridge
Chrome Hipshot ultralight tuners
Weight: 3.7kgs / 8lb 2oz
Original gig bag and tools
It is absolutely one of a kind, I know of no other Dingwall Super J's ordered in this colour. Light, well balanced, gorgeous neck profile. New, it would cost you 6 month wait and cost well in excess of £3k. I live in Northern Ireland so I am willing to ship but will be at buyers expense. 4. This bass was originally mine which I had traded a Dingwall for. Only reason I sold it was to get another Dingwall as I loved the fanned frets. It's a cracking bass. Sorry you didn't get on with it Fred

 8. Philip Kubicki passed away last year. As far as i know they are still building the basses but from what i can tell on there website only offer them now in natural wood finishes which doesnt appeal to me. They did send me the offical factor logo to get made into a decal as i am currently debating getting the ex-factor refinished as there are a few scrapes on it her and there. I know there is another company desiging something similar and are offering more options thatn the ex-factor but cant remeber who it is,hence the original post.
 9. Hi, I think I remember a while ago reading something on the web about another company that are designing/building a bass very similar in looks to the kubicki Ex-factor 4. I have just recently acquired and Ex-factor 4 and its totally blown me away. Does any of my more knowledgable forum members know who this other company is and can they provide me with a link to their website if it does exisit or is it a figment of my imagination? All help greatly appreciated. Dave
