I used to use this case for my Dean Stylist but since I got rid of that a while back, it's just been under my bed. Its in good nick, no tears or anything like that and could be used for any bass I guess if you're not too fussed about a perfect fit. Pick up from Didsbury, South Manchester or could meet in Stockport. Here's a link to it in GAK- http://www.gak.co.uk/en/stagg-stb-10-ab-ac...c-bass-bag/6595
hi, do you still have this? I need a case for my Crafter 4 string acoustic - then t may get to leave the house!! cheers, Mike

COMPLETED: TO GO:8 Unused Rotosound Roundwound B strings
MikeBass replied to MarcDan's topic in Completed Items
I have 10 old and unused Rotosound B strings (9 x 125 and 1 x 130) - all roundwound - to offer anyone who needs one or two for the price of the postage or personal collection from London NW3. I also have 3 used B strings - one clipped short allowing minimal winding on the string post and one with no thread at either end, the third is probably a Rotosound.
Hi, what were you looking at for postage? I'd like a couple of the 125s - means I can buy 4 string packs. cheers, Mike -
Hohner Jack Bass 4 String Headless Active. **SOLD**
MikeBass replied to phsycoandy's topic in Basses For Sale
this is identical to the one I had late 80s/early90s. awesome sound from the EMG selects. I bought a 5 string version but the PUs had changed to jazz pick ups - not the same sound. I also had a fretless steinberger shape version too - great sound. wish I'd kept my Jack now. lightweight, great sound. really tempted with this...................... -
oh, whilst I'm here! it's a 1964 by serial number - has sept, nov or dec 63 stamped on neck - i forget. all original bar scratchplate, knobs and black finish - may have been green originally but was in a bad way when I got it so had it rebuilt/refinished by Brian Eastwood - lovely to play. light and super low frets/action.

People paying 5 grand for a bass probably want their balls tickled a bit.
LOL!! a ball tickling and slightly less than 5k may prise my '64 P from my grasp!!
I have to own up that I don't know how Warwick serial number dating works I'm also not entirely sure where the serial number is, lol. I have a vague recollection it might be engraved into the very tip of the headstock? The bass isn't with me at the moment as it's up on a commission sale with Phil at BassGear.
warwick serial numbers: the serial number will be on the tip of the headstock. the last two numbers give you the year, the letter at the start, the month (A = Jan B = Feb etc don't include I) the numbers inbetween are the issue number for that number bass of that year. amazing basses - I have 1990 and 1988 thumbs.
Why does it have EMGs? I thought all Warwicks started out with MECs but i'm no expert!
my 88 thumb has EMGs and the 90 thumb has MECs. in comparison, the EMGs are much hotter than the MECs. amazing basses - cant believe 90, 89 and 87 thumb NTs have appeared for sale here in the past few weeks. oh for some spare cash (and/or understanding from the missus!!!!)
Free nostalgic bump. Ran one of these up and down the country for 6 years - rock solid and always delivered the goods. I was tempted myself but I'm afraid my wife would disagree somewhat....
yeah, still sounds amazing with my Hartke 3500 head - super loud for a 200 watt rated cab but....needed to go smaller, lighter so have gone for markbass. thanks, Mike

Trace Elliot 1153T 15" Bass Speaker Cabinet. Made in England. Selling my Trace cab bought new by myself in 2001 (still have receipt and original cardboard box). Selling only coz I've moved on to Markbass combo and I really need the space. £175 for a BCer. It can be used vertically with bass heads and other cabs. It has feet on the bottom and side for either purpose. The cab is rated as 200W at 8 Ohms. It is very solidly constructed with spring loaded handles that do not rattle. The cab will produce a very strong punchy sound with enough bottom end for a 5 string bass. Bass player Required for a Muse Tribute Band
MikeBass replied to KnightsofCydomia's topic in Musicians Wanted
so did this band go anywhere? Even if the position is now filled I'd be interested when you're gigging in the Yorkshire area... hi guys, I joined the band at the beginning of the year and, having found a keyboard player, we are now in rehearsal. No time scale for when the band will be ready to gig but its sounding pretty good at the moment. cheers, M.
