I've got a similar problem. I play in a thrash band with two VERY LOUD guitarists tuned to C#. I'm still thinking of adding a 15er to my 2x12 just so the rumble cuts through a bit more.

Hey guys, So the Thumb took a few knocks on tour sadly. The first was by a guitar stand collapsing and the second was a run-in with an over-eager wheeled flightcase. She's now scratched up a little bit. sad face. this bass deserves to be pristine and staring at bits of primer when playing just isn't right. Now before I take her to the guys at the Gallery, can any of you recommend any products/techniques to restore her back to white glossy goodness and keep my wallet in solid working order? Thanks

I'm in a thrash band too. This thread has been *extremely* helpful. Only trouble is i've not seen many secondhand fafner's about and I don't think I can justify a new one!

I've got one of those triple hercules jobbies. It's nice and light, but I'm always worried that it might topple. If you don't have the legs out at exactly 90degrees then it does go over like a stack of cards.

Played a gig on saturday and one of the other bands had a TD650. Best sounding amp of the night, even through a shared half-busted crappy marshall cab. And consequently I now really really want one.
