1. that's amazing. +1 for power conditioners with lights on
2. Hey guys, So the Thumb took a few knocks on tour sadly. The first was by a guitar stand collapsing and the second was a run-in with an over-eager wheeled flightcase. She's now scratched up a little bit. sad face. this bass deserves to be pristine and staring at bits of primer when playing just isn't right. Now before I take her to the guys at the Gallery, can any of you recommend any products/techniques to restore her back to white glossy goodness and keep my wallet in solid working order? Thanks

4. I am interested but I'm going to be strong, not let the GAS get to me and hold out for a Fafner. If I was still doing big shows though, I'd be all over this.

6.
I saw you played at the Met lounge a couple of weeks back. Whats the name of your band man? You finding shows easy enough to get? Weve hit a bit of a wall trying to get shows January onwards.
We're called the Quarry. We're mates with Shaun from the Ruined so he hooked us up with that show. Not tried booking anything for next year yet because we've got to find a new guitarist first. Which band are you in?

10. We so should have sorted this last week since I did a gig at the met lounge last thursday! oh well.
11. I really really really want a Fafner, or a newer Eden WT-800. Or an Aguilar. arrrgh. But yes, someone relieve me of this 750x please!
12. cash is best since i've gone back to using my Warwick head anyway and I'm pretty much done for gigs this year. the only pre-fender head I'd be interested is the ol' SM-900 I reckon. I'm looking for something that will drive two 4ohm cabs.
13.
will you be willing to swap for a MINT sm500??? if not i will try and sell the SM500 ASAP for this! *edit* its a pre-fender SM500
possibly, have you got any pics? I'm really after an EBS or Eden head.
14. I'm in a thrash band too. This thread has been *extremely* helpful. Only trouble is i've not seen many secondhand fafner's about and I don't think I can justify a new one!
15. I've got one of those triple hercules jobbies. It's nice and light, but I'm always worried that it might topple. If you don't have the legs out at exactly 90degrees then it does go over like a stack of cards.
16. Played a gig on saturday and one of the other bands had a TD650. Best sounding amp of the night, even through a shared half-busted crappy marshall cab. And consequently I now really really want one.
17. Price drop. Will accept offers. This has got to go!
18. Now for sale! £400 or make me an offer. Will trade for EDEN or EBS gear, distortion pedals, AKAI deep impact.
19. all gone. I've got cash waiting for a Fafner. Hook me up! Hey guys, I'm not getting the tone I'm after out of the 750x, and my back is starting to disagree with its weight. It's sitting in a slightly battered 6u Gator which will come with if you want it. I'm also up for trades for amplifiers, so let me know what you've got. Can do pics if there's any interest but it's in great nick and was serviced a few months ago. Footswitch is new from Thomann. Make me an offer folks. This has got to go. Cheers!
20. Hey guys, I'm selling this for a friend of mine. They knew that cutting-edge features like high-resolution 10-bit touch-sensitive moving faders, large LCD display and mic/line switches on all channels were important. They also found that much of the expense of other units on the market owed to a dizzying number of controls that many users find daunting. Our engineers opted for a streamlined design that places some functions under the control of the keyboard and mouse, where they are best suited. The result is a controller that doesn't have much of a learning curve, is much more intuitive to use and comes in at an unbeatable price. Check out ProjectMix I/O for yourself at your local M-Audio dealer. We think you'll agree. 10-bit Touch-Sensitive Moving Faders The motorized touch-sensitive faders on each of ProjectMix I/O's 8 channel strips and master strip record and playback your changes, making for seamless mix automation. And touch sensitivity means that when you touch a fader in motion, it immediately disengages for manual control and re-engages automation when you release. This provides for both smoother operation and the elimination of motor burnout prevalent in older technologies. ProjectMix's faders also feature higher resolution than other control surfaces in its price range. Channel Strip ProjectMix I/O's 8 channel strips can map to as many channels as your project by simply pressing the bank +/- and channel +/- controls. Each channel strip features all of the functions you'd expect to help you zip through sessions, including buttons for mic/line, record enable, mute, solo, and select. In addition to a touch-sensitive motorized fader, each strip has an endless rotary encoder knob whose function is assigned by one of 15 dedicated buttons for EQ, aux send and more. Related information is displayed in the LCD window directly above each encoder. The encoders and LCD double to control assigned plug-in parameters as well.
It's literally been used TWICE so is in super mint condition. North London location, offers in the region of £700 due to its mintiness, but offers definitely considered. comes with carry bag. PM me for more.
