1. Brilliantly, the paintjob goes straight over the serial number, so not sure of the actual date. Ding me some offers people, I need to shift these basses!
2. It has this one, which is the older I believe: It's also got the old school truss rod cover and brass nut.
3. Hi all, Here is my semi-legendary Warwick Thumb NT 5 string custom shop in gloss white with red LEDs on the top of the neck. It has a pair of bartolini's and dates from the early 90s. I was told by the guy I bought it from that it was made to Prince's spec for an awards performance, but I've never found any evidence to support this story. Anyway, it's a stunning early 90s Thumb with a unique paint job and is a guaranteed head-turner. She does have a few dings and scratches (white finishes are tough to maintain) but none are visible from the front. I'm looking for a firm £800 for this bass. Comes with a very old Rockbag complete with retro Bass Centre logo. Nice. Pics: You'll notice the dings. By the strings there is a small patch where the top coat has come off a little. Also the top of the neck has seen some wear (OBVIOUSLY). The very top of the body has some dings which the previous owner thought could be dealt with a bit of a touch up. It seems to be enamel paint though, so is easily scratched off if you want to retouch it. It's not visible from the front though, and any owner of a white bass will tell you how tough it is to keep these finishes perfect, apart from never playing it! PM me any questions. Thanks!
4. Hi folks, I have a borked EBS 212 that would make a good reconditioning project for someone handier than me. Both drivers and tweeter need replacing, but the enclosure and covering are in absolutely great nick. Collection only from Tower Bridge in London, SE1. Offers in the region of £50 please! Thanks, Si.
5. Stunning. If I didn't have a red one already I'd be ALL OVER THIS. The necks on these are brilliant and the pickup configuration gives it a MM feel that's nicer than the FNAs were in my opinion.
6. The cab is in central London and will be available in the next couple of weeks. Thanks guys, sling me a PM if you're interested in it, and I'll put a post in the recycled/unwanted area when it's properly available.
7. So this hasn't happened to me before, but my EBS 212 has a fried crossover and both drivers need replacing. Cost of repair is roughly the same as getting something else a little bit more reliable. So what's the best way of disposing of it? Would anyone be interested in the enclosure? Never had to fully 'dispose' of anything before
8. OK I might give that a go. Is it a pricy endeavour to get a new thermostat?
9. Hi guys, My Warwick Quad IV is tripping out constantly as a result of the thermal switch. Thing is, the fan's working and it's not getting hot. A cursory glance from the tech at the studio couldn't find anything at fault with the amp itself, so my question is have any other Warwick amp owners had this issue, and is it an expensive fix? I'd rather get something more reliable than have to play gigs worrying about it dying on me. Any advice appreciated.

12. ruh roh! I have four wicks.
13. I've got a Mini Cooper S. It's amazing what you can fit in there with the seats down
14. You've just inspired me to restring my Thumb E-C. Lovely stuff Andy.
15. I've got a similar problem. I play in a thrash band with two VERY LOUD guitarists tuned to C#. I'm still thinking of adding a 15er to my 2x12 just so the rumble cuts through a bit more.
16.
I heart the Gallery, I don't think I could live without them! Er, and any comments along the lines of "they won't be around for more than a couple of years" are massively out of place, I was in there today and I've genuinely never seen it busier, within ten minutes Alex had sold a bass for approx £1200, sold a strap, some pedal connectors to me and had another two guys queueing up... I think the Gallery will be here for many years to come sir, M
Indeedy, one of them being me. Was picking up two of my 'wicks which were in for repairs. Needless to say they've done a lovely job on both.
17. Tempting to pair with my 2x12 but I don't have a head that can go down to 2ohms anymore
18. GRAAAAAAOORORORRRRRRRR I was brought up on jazz but I LIVE FOR METAL
19. I'm in a thrash metal band called The Quarry. myspace.com/thequarrymusic EP up for grabs here: Download We're currently on the look-out for a London-based lead guitarist, so drop me a PM if you know any good lead guys who are after some thrashy fun.
20. I would love another one of these but they're SOOOOOO HEAVY.
