  1. I'll measure it when I get home from a gig i'm at, think it's standard.
  2. I'd waited ages to find the Tele that I wanted but it never came up. I bought this instead, took it out of the box and played it in the house once. Two days later I saw the Tele I'd wanted in the first place so this has to go. It's a real players guitar and is now discontinued. It is as new, not a single mark on it. Thin polyurethane finish. Body is three-piece alder, perfectly coated in three-tone sunburst urethane and with a light maple satin finish neck. Jumbo frets, 9.5-inch radius board and tuners are Schallers. Traditional bridge with three brass saddles and two Texas Special pickups so it's quite a 'hot' guitar. The neck pickup has two adjustment screws that allow you to set its height. Standard 'post-1967' control configuration of single master volume and tone pots, with Fender's Greasebucket tone circuit. It will come with a brand new Fender Classic case (£120) which I bought for the guitar. For sale only, no trades thanks. Will delivery fully insured to you, the additional cost of which will vary depending on where you want it delivered to! Collection also welcome, happy to travel a reasonable distance to meet. Cash on collection or bank transfer.
  3. Ibanez Exotic Wood series Bass, strung quite recently with flats for a very 'upright' bass sound. Lovely neck and action, mahogany neck, figured full grain body, Fishman Sonicore Pickup, Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter Preamp with Onboard Tuner, Balanced and XLR Outputs, Rosewood Bridge and Fretboard, Ivorex II Nut and Saddle, 34"scale. Sounds massive, projects really well. Comes with Stagg hard case. For sale only, no trades thanks. Will delivery fully insured to you, the additional cost of which will vary depending on where you want it delivered to! Collection also welcome, happy to travel a reasonable distance to meet. Cash on collection or bank transfer.
  4. Very hard to find Parker Fly 5 Bass in excellent condition. A couple of marks to the body and a mark on the edge of the neck as per picture which you can't feel when playing. Recently strung with flats for a very 'upright' sound when using the Piezo pickup. Sitka Spruce body with Quilted Maple on the front and back. Neck is Mahogany wrapped in a skin of carbon fiber. Headstock is Curly Maple. Fretboard is glass and carbon fibre fretboard. Fretboard radius 10" - 15", 34" scale. 24 medium size, hardened stainless steel frets, Lightweight aluminum locking Sperzel® tuners. GraphTech®, width: 1.8", Mono-Rail II bridge with individual Fishman piezo pickups. 2 Custom DiMarzio Ultra Jazz™ hum-cancelling pickups with active Fishman EQ.Controls Master volume, magnetic pickup pan, magnetic pickup active 2 band EQ, piezo volume, piezo active tone. Comes with a Parker padded gig bag. For sale only, no trades thanks. Will delivery fully insured to you, the additional cost of which will vary depending on where you want it delivered to! Collection also welcome, happy to travel a reasonable distance to meet. Cash on collection or bank transfer.
  5. No need for much of a description! List price for these with the optional LED's is now £3185. Very good condition, blue side led's, little bit of buckle rash on the back which I am informed by those in the know is easily polished out if you want to. New set of strings and comes with Status hiscox case. For sale only, no trades thanks. Will delivery fully insured to you, the additional cost of which will vary depending on where you want it delivered to! Collection also welcome, happy to travel a reasonable distance to meet. Cash on collection or bank transfer. **Price reduced to £1650!**

  8. Sad news today that Barney42 - AKA Colin Payne sadly passed on today. He'd been quite unwell for some time but was always talking about getting back on stage. Colin was a lovely, warm and friendly chap and a pretty mean bass player too. I went to see him in hospital last weekend with Bassforradio where we managed to have a chat with Colin - he was still logging into Basschat during his final days. My deepest condolences to his friends, his band members and family. Colin
  9. Right oh - I was musing the same thing. SE Bass Bash in the spring? I'll check with the school and report back here...............
  10. I think I'd go for a Fender P/J to replace my Fender P/J For a cabinet I'd try a Barefaced 6x10 to replace my Barefaced BT2 I might rack up for the amp and get a Tech 21 SansAmp RBI into a power amp of some kind to replace my Markbass 800Tube
  11. Hi Trevor @TrevorR. My church stopped meeting there about a year ago as we bought a large coffee shop in the middle of Chertsey and meet there on a Sunday, so I could book the school for a Sunday next year. I also think it might be a good idea to have it at the start of September on the first weekend after the schools resume. Several potential guests I approached this year said they were in rehearsals for Christmas tours at the end of September. I don't suppose any time of year is ideal unless someone can say otherwise?
  12. Andy bought a couple of speakers from me, an easy transaction - Cheers!
  13. I'd buy that just for the pleasure of beating the creator to death with it
  14. IMHO you only need one lightweight 2x12 cab - https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/Big-Twin-2.htm
  15. Bernie has been to a previous SEBB so he might be up for a return
  16. I reckon it's cattle trucked - http://www.ampdoctor.co.uk/
  17. Which amp model is it? Some can be a royal PITA to work on as so much has to be removed for access.
