1.
Imported midi
Indeed - It would have taken me several days just to write it all out because my reading/writing of notation is pretty slow.
2.
Rule #1 of YouTube: Don't read YouTube comments.
Rule #2 - Ask them why they don't post a video of them showing everyone how it should be done properly
3.
112.000061 BPM?
It's all in the timing.......
4.
Has anyone come across a good note-for-note transcription of the song anywhere, either in a book or as a standalone bass transcription? Just for the record, I'm not after a tab or a piano reduction; I'm looking for as exact a transcription as possible. Many thanks! - martin
I just knocked this up on Sibelius - it's just about there, what do you think? -
5. I reckon he's a drummer posing as a bass player just to get us a bad name!
6.
Super bass, super advert. Wish everyone's were as clear & well written.
Ditto on that - could we use this as a sort of template for future ads?
7. Beethoven's Symphony No. 9
8. Couldn't find a diagram for that specific bass, but one of these should be almost identical depending on which circuit board was used in yours: http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdf...0136860APg2.pdf http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdf...0136800BPg2.pdf
9. After hearing it in the flesh at the last bass bash I can recommend a Barefaced Midget and the amp of your taste - Markbass LM series or a GB Shuttle perhaps? They're incredibly loud and deep cabs for something so small.
10. Guidelines for SELLERS 5. You must state a price for your item. Anything without a price clearly stated will be subject to removal. Word.
11. A rub down with a clean cloth, a bit of fast fret along the neck and there you go - your babies clean! Welcome
12. That is a damn fine sexy bass which I can't really afford but might have sold stuff to buy - serves me right for neglecting the forums for 3 hours bass practice!!!
13. Bulgaria eh? - smashing place. Went there for my hols last year so I know your cost of essentials - food & beer - just went up by 600% ! Welcome to the forums
14. Arrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
15. Nice pedal, but I think I prefer the painted ones Dave does
16. My ears, my preference, my sound - my new amp............ suits me sir, it rocks!
17. Having just researched this same subject for my Markbass head, IMHO the markbass stuff seems overpriced and poor quality. Much better off going to B&Q, Wickes, Homebase etc for a hard case.
18. Is there an output for an extension cab on the back? - My money's on a popped transformer.
19. They've changed the trigger point for CUSTOMS charges but you'll still pay 17.5% VAT on the value of all goods shipped in including the price of the actual shipping - which is a service mainly delivered outside the UK so IMHO that's a bit of a piss take (theft) sort of thing!!
20. ibtb means "in before the ban", and you'll have to get used to the sometimes quirky british humour. Why Boo! ? - I don't know - I think it's jealousy over that trouser dampening '58 P who have in your sweaty hands! Just acquaint yourself with the rules over selling, because if you are selling commercially you need permission from the website owners to carry on. Have a read - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=SR&f=40 Cheers Hamster
21. There's a Sub 5 here - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=74425 Very good basses.
22. Do you mean:- Stompbox Ltd 37a The Broadway Joel Street Northwood Middlesex HA6 1NZ United Kingdom by any chance?
23. I remember the first time I played live on stage. EVERYTHING on the amp/bass was set on 1 and I was pretty invisible in the mix but I could just hear myself. A few fluffs but nothing too bad and I wished I'd have turned everything up to a very ambitious 5 afterwards! You most probably will fluff up a couple of notes, but don't concentrate on the fluffs, concentrate on the good bits and go for it and have a ball - you'll be longing to get plugged in and on the stage again before your head hits the pillow
