I've got a laney RBW300 combo with tiltback. 165w and can carry it's own at practices and small pub type gigs. Nice chunky sound too.

I've got a blinging bass coming too Pics on sat. lol

I dropped my shine on the jack with a cable in it the other week. Cue new jack socket. All fixed now though thanks to a bass luthier mate

30/40% So glad I ordered my new bass now then!

But I can't get into the shop til saturday!!!!!! Dooooooooooooooooooh!

If you're playing the same thing over and over soon it grows monotanous and ends up feeling like you're not getting anywhere/getting worse. Try varying what you're doing.

If you can't switch the active off then one day you'll come to play it and it just won't output. Full stop. lol

Not last night but sunday night. Played the 'Kitty Rocks' all dayer in aid of Cannock and Burntwood cats protection league. Cue lots of pussy/hairball/etc jokes Was supposed to be 9 bands but most of the day bands dropped out. We were on at 8.30 and played a 1/2 hr set. Went REALLY well and we got a great reception. We play serious music but always have a laugh, joke and banter on stage which always goes down well. Pics, a review and hopefully audio/video coming soon!!! The guitarist and me then took the gear home and then we went back for the party and to see the rest of the bands Loved EVERY minute of it Had a brilliant night all round and can't wait to do it again. Oh and £230 was raised for the cats protection league Unfortunately wasn't as busy as they'd hoped, mainly presumably because of it being a sunday night.. but oh well

I have a 5 string and a 4 string. I will ALWAYS pick up the 5 string first and I only really have the 4 string for Drop D (You may call me lazy now). I've just ordered another 5 string and it's gotten to the point where it feels wrong to play a 4. Guitarist in our band has a 7 string guitar and I use the B A LOT. I couldn't go back to a 4 now. I love 5's too much Oh.. and I play rock/metal.
