As I keep saying, I'm no lawyer. But your contract of sale was with The Bass Centre, not with Warwick. So it's them you need to speak to. If they say that you need to speak to Warwick, then you may want to point out to them that you bought the bass from them, your contract is with them, and that your bass was not of merchantable quality. But, The Bass Centre primarily (as far as I know) sells premium quality products. And hence I'd expect (no guarantee of course) that they will act properly to fix the problem. That you've already bought tuners could be a problem, but speak to them and see what happens. If it looks like it is going to become a problem, you are probably best off going to your local Trading Standards to ask for advice. when putting new strings on my $$ .the E tuner sudenly went click thought oops ! on inspection the white plasic washer behind the key had split . took off key using philips screwdriver, put washer from my other bass on .works fine . seems it only acts as a friction washer . tuner worked fine without it ,but have ordered new tuner as i do not seem to be able to buy these washers on their own . has anyone else experienced this or is it a one off. ?

well i started with guitar ,but fancied drums . we did not have a drummer so drums it was for most of my youth playing in various bands then marrage drums stored at parents then divorce had to sell drums . remarried several years later then about five years ago felt the urge to play something again ,drums seemed too bulky so my other underlying fave was bass but in my band playing days my best college mate was the bass player ,he has now got into irish folk . so i bought a bass (cheap and cheerfull )several basses later hooked . wish i had done it years ago.

yep black does look good on dark wood , there again i my be bias
