  1. Up for grabs is my 80s Ashly preamp. Made in the USA and ahead of its time it is purported to gave been used by Geddy Lee during his exit stage left days and it was responsible for that amazing rickenbacker tone of that period. That's why I bought it but I've deferred back to an all on one solution for all things to do with tone by way of an Eden wp100 preamp. The Ashly has an array of features; gain, presence, bass / mid / treble controls, parametric eq with frequency / curve selector for zoning in on that tone. It has eq bypass, effects loop, crossover control (fir biamping) stage level and DI control on the front. On the back is crossover out, main line / instrument out, effects send / return and DI send / ground lift. All in all it is superb and if you're looking for Geddy's Rick tone then this could be the answer although there is some debate ad to whether it was a bp41 or an sc40. Will send it anywhere!
  2. £30 plus p&p. Up for grabs is my digitech bass squeeze dual band compressor. Perfect working order. Controls are level, frequency crossover, low and high compress. 1 input. 2 outputs - one to mixer and one to amp. Superb compressor
  3. Up for grabs is my sansamp vt bass pedal. Surplus to requirements as I've bought a new rack preamp to sort all my effects / processing. It's got level, bass, mud, treble, character and drive controls. 1/4" in and out. Comes with 9v power supply. If you don't know about these then try one. They add that fizz that your sound may have been is sing for years. Makes your rig come alive.

  5. Us the eden preamp long gone?
  6. Up for grabs is my fender licenced precision bass neck with Wilkinson tuners, Arctic white headstock and vintage logo. Clearly the finish and decal can be removed if needed but if you're fancying an Arctic white project neck then this is loaded and ready to go. Hardly played and in superb condition with no fret wear or dings. Can post anywhere really. Pics to follow.
  7. Up for grabs is a very useful genuine fender bridge with grooved saddles. This came off a Japan Jaguar bass but will fit precision and jazz basses with 5 holes. The brst nit is that each saddle has multiple grooves so if your stringsxare sligbtly mis alugned to yout pole pieces then just slide the string over to the next groove. £20 posted. Pics to follow.
  8. Up for sale seymour duncan quarter pounder spb3 pickups. Been used in a rarely used project bass but now up for grabs as the project has been abandoned. Superb high quality high output pick ups. Pics to follow as they won't load on the phone.....

  10. Any chance of a close up of the headstock too please?
  11. Does it look like it may have been white originally? There's a trace of white in the pup cavity and also where the finish has been sanded away on the bottom of the bass, it looks to be red over white? Also the pick guard looks like it was black - whether original or not......
  12. Reminds me of a mint humbug.
  13. There's a reason why it was limited edition.....
  14. Bump Possible trade for a scabby CIJ jazz bass? Don't mind a project bass to restore.
