[color=#333333][size=4]I'm selling this 1978 Précision bass everything is original excepted:[/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=4]- The colour s seminole red, with a "roadworn" like on the bottom of the body[/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=4]- the pickguard who's been painted[/size][/color]

[color=#333333][size=4]The weight is 4.6kg, I think it's ash body but i'm not sure.[/size][/color]

[color=#333333][size=4]It's sound great, no dead spots or frizz, no buzz on electro.[/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=4]Truss road is working perfectly.[/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=4]It comes with a gator hardcase.[/size][/color]

[color=#333333][size=4]The bass is located in Paris, no problem to ship it everywhere in Europe.[/size][/color]

I was going to ask the same - my guess is Fiesta Red, but that could be my monitor? Lovely colour either way :)

This could be Morocco Red from the Fender a International colour series. There's some debate re: commencement dates, but I've seen Internationals advertised from '79 onwards - one of our Fender experts might be able to help? The International colours are wonderful IMO, especially Capri Orange (but if the advertised bass is Morocco, it looks lovely)

There's a Morocco Red P on Andy Baxter's site at the moment and it does look very similar. But if I am reading the sales post correctly, this is a refinish and not the original colour, Basstardz is that correct?

Does it look like it may have been white originally?
There's a trace of white in the pup cavity and also where the finish has been sanded away on the bottom of the bass, it looks to be red over white?
Also the pick guard looks like it was black - whether original or not......

the scratchplate hasn't serial number maybe under the paint..i don't know.
The white paint under the red is IMO the preparation paint.
the price is accordings these modifications;-)
