  1. We are a modern rock/metal covers band looking for a drummer. We rehearse near Leicester. PM for more info
  2. The Amorettes and Syteria are the first two that spring to mind for me. Two cracking bass players.
  3. I too keep looking at Schecter’s, they look great, are reasonably priced and seem to be the ideal gigging tool. I have some nice basses but there’s always that worry taking them out that they are going to get trashed, stolen or beer spilt on them.
  4. Happy I placed my order this week and beat the hike 😉
  5. Apologies, I must have missed the notification for this. Thank you cetera for the kind words and bump, indeed I’d be keeping hold of this had I not opted to give the lightweight option a try. The cab is now paid for and awaiting collection from its new owner
  6. Bought this on a whim off of a fellow Basschatter on here a couple of weeks ago but find it not quite what i'm looking for sound wise, it's a tad too aggressive for my tastes. This is the original Baby Thundaa based on it's bigger brother the Eau Claire Thunder, I'd imagine these are quite rare now. Just looking to get back what Im paid for it. Link to original ad:
  7. Me personally I wouldn’t be too bothered about the logo being sideways. I love the curves on the steel grill version in particular, I think it looks really smart. Be a shame to have to change the design for the sake of the logo.
  8. I’ll give the demos a listen and read up on these thank you 😊
  9. Thanks I’ll have a listen to these, I definitely don’t want a volume boost more something to drive the valves a bit and the ability to wind the volume back to keep the cleans and overdrive consistent level wise. Im a bit of a novice on compressors, I do have one at the start of my chain to even the attack of the notes and obviously I’ll get natural compression from my valves, would a third compressor be maybe too much?
  10. Afternoon all Am currently in the market for a new pedal to put in front of my valve amp. I was originally thinking a nice distortion ie a rat or something however now I’m just thinking of putting some sort of boost on instead to drive the valves more. I normally have my pre wound past noon to give me a little bite on my clean signal which I love the sound of. However I’m looking at something a bit more growly during chorus’s and twin lead breaks without losing my colour of my amp. I guess something similar to how a 2/3 channel amp works. Any suggestions?
  11. I have the standard 2024, bought it last year and couldn’t agree more. I love mine 👍
  12. Agreed Steve, it’s a phenomenal sounding cab. Unfortunately it’s too big and weighty for me now. To be fair I’m half tempted to keep it as it is a rare old beast.
  13. Not sure why the pics have mostly turned out sideways as they are the right way up on my computer.
  14. Regrettably selling my old school Mesa Diesel 215 as i've gone for something lighter. This is the old EV loaded cab which is becoming very rare now, more power than you could ever want and it just sounds incredible. The covering on it is actually a second coating you can see the original underneath, I have tried to picture it the best I can. Flightcase included, pickup only for obvious reasons and you would probably need a van to collect it as it is big and heavy. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me
  15. Boss LS2 users...... I noticed the LS2 has a DC out, is it Boss only pedals I can power off of it or am I able to hook up any 9vDC centre neg pedals keeping within the current rating of the psu obviously?
  16. Thanks for the link. School boy error don’t put 18v into a multicomp 😂
  17. Well had a rehearsal this evening to try out the ls2 which worked superbly. The bad news is I managed to fry my chorus pedal, nothing at all related to the ls2 mind.
  18. I now have one incoming, thanks for the heads up
  19. Thank you for trying that out for me. I have been looking around for an LS2 and yes they are expensive for what they are. Part of me wants to persevere with my 3 channel Sansamp but as you say the LS2 has a number of great purposes I think it would be handy to own one.
  20. So I could run from my wireless/tuner into the input then output to rest of the effects, I wouldn’t need to connect to the A&B and the dials would still adjust the A&B or do I need to jumper both A&B send/return with two patch cables? Unfortunately I only own the one wireless so the receiver stays in my pocket and I just unplug and plug back in when I switch.
