1.
That's light for a G&L
Unless my bathroom scales are out. Might explain why they tell me I'm built like a racing snake lol.
2. Just under 8lbs according to bathroom scales ๐Ÿ˜‰
3. Reluctant sale of my SB2, owned it for a couple of years but it really isn't getting the use it deserves. One of the best gigging basses I've played and really sits out in the mix with the extremely powerful pickups (Leo Fender designed G&L MFDโ„ข split-coil (neck) and single coil (bridge)). It has been gigged so has a bit of bucklerash on and a few other scratches/marks but frets and electronics are all good and she plays faultlessly for a 28 year old bass. I don't have a hard case however I do have a soft gig bag for it hence will be a pickup only or I can meet within reasonable distance from Leicester. No trades although I could be tempted by another USA Stingray 4
4.
Would you ship within EU? Estimated price? Thanks a lot!
Hi, no doing local pickup or meet up as i've had a lot of problems with couriers in the past. Cheers.
5.
What function do the two switches near the bridge perform?
They are coil taps I believe. There's quite a bit of info on Alan's site regarding the electronics if you need any in depth knowledge.
6. Bump price drop, work has dropped out so need to sell. Have another Glock cab can possibly do a deal on both PM me for details on a pair. Great cabs just need the cash
7. Had a play last night, considering withdrawing and persevering until I get used to that extra string, it plays great and I'm primarily a 4 stringer. Bump before I withdraw and decide to keep.
8.
I really want this but really can't afford it! Someone please buy this to stop me getting valuations on my internal organs!
Haha I know this feeling all too well, had it many times before and I know I'll get it again ๐Ÿ˜‰
9.
Thank you for the info. I was hoping that it was a 33". Cheers
No problem, all the best.
10. Just sold my SVT4Pro to Mick, I was a little reluctant as he lives in N. Ireland and it was a heavy piece of equipment to ship. However he sent me the payment upfront and again the shipping costs once I'd sent it and it all arrived safely and he was very happy with the purchase for his Iron Maiden tribute band. Top bloke to deal with another highly recommended Basschatter. Cheers, Mick.
11.
Could you please tell me what scale this bass is please? Thank you.
I believe it's a 34 Ron. Cheers.
12.
Iยดm not really in a hurry to sell the Berg. If you need some more pics or informations, let me know. And trading is not one more bass, just...different!
Like your theory Sascha I just need the cash back even though I'll be a bass down. ๐Ÿ˜
13. Heard someone using Mesa guitar cabs with good results. Didn't Lemmy use guitar cabs too?
14. Bump, offering cheaper price to fellow Basschatters ๐Ÿ˜Š
15. Bump, cheaper price for fellow Basschatters ๐Ÿ˜Š
16. I used Schaller for a while then I bought a bass with Dunlops already fitted and never looked back, far superior imo.
