1. Probably been done to death but finding lots of conflicting advice on matching heads and cabs wattage wise especially with more than one cab. I was always under the impression that your head had to be rated less than the cabs as not to overpower the speakers but I'm also reading that it's also possible to underpower them. Some also say as long as impedances match then all is cool? In my case I run a 212 and a 210 cab which are 500 and 400 watts respectively so this would be a combined wattage of 900watts?? Head wise am i better off to run a 300, 500 or 1000watt? Apologies again for a novice question but i seem to be finding lots of conflicting advice. Cheers 👍

3. Bump back up. Open to offers on both cabs save me putting them on the dreaded eBay.
4. A decent MIM P bass, wanting to go the BEAD route with it.
5. Two Ampeg 410HE's for sale including Ampeg covers. Great all round condition, one cab has covering peeling off at the seam at the rear which could be easily stuck back down (see pics). Covers virtually brand new. £300 for the one in better condition, £250for the other one or will do £500 for the pair. Pickup only please due to the size and weight. Not interested in trades thankyou.
6. Definitely considering a BF or a two cab option. Those TKS get great reviews and not a bad price either.
7. Ah, I also use a 5 string regularly if that should influence my decision.
8. Mid budget I guess as long as they aren't really pricey. Heard good things on all names you mentioned, was also reading earlier on something like an Aggy 212 and 210 combination. Must be easier than hauling two 410s around
9. As the title suggests, I'm currently looking for a change in cabs mainly due to weight and effort but also fancy something different. I play in two loud hard rock and punk covers bands and run a pair of Ampeg 410hle's with my 4 pro mono bridged. From time to time my back does give me grief so considering lightening the load a little and considering 2x112s , 2x212s, 2x210s or maybe a combination. Ideally I'd still like to run the 4pro mono bridged so I still have plenty of balls so obviously the cabs need to handle this. I used to run a 412 previous to this, loved the tone but my back didn't. Could anyone give me any pointers? Many thanks in advance.
10. Up for grabs is my trusty Marshall rig, monstrous sounding all valve tone. Head comes with flight case is in all round good cond with the odd mark here and there. Cab is very roadworn rear has been sprayed black where the tolex has come off and looks well used. This rig has been used, is a real workhorse and sounds superb. Only reason I'm selling is due to the weight and I struggle getting it in the car to and from gigs
11. Bought an Ampeg rig off of Chris at the weekend. Very helpful and informative and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Very happy with my new setup. Cheers Chris.
12. Just whether it will pair up with my vba400 or if I'd have to change my whole rig. Definitely been thinking about the two smaller cab option as to one large.
