I will say, it doesn't weigh a ton. it actually plays fairly well, i have never played a danelectro as the look is not for me but it works well. I played it through the vox, which I must say sounds very nice. As they are short scale necks, they actual instrument isn't as big as it looks. The two strap buttons don't have a point, it is just the original strap buttons from the donor instruments. Don't know what all the controls do yet apart from the switch which switches between necks. At the moment it is a double throw switch so you can't have both necks at the same time, which you might want to correct, as it means you can't do the standing behind someone playing the other neck thing like they do in game shows.

Never had a machine head break at all, and I have a lot of Ibanez, although a few of them have hipshots and Gotohs on them.

Most of it is just practice. Obviously within the confines of what you have you have limits but it is just muscles, they need to work to get good. And frankly a lot of it is just confidence It does to some extent but not to the same level as the voice lives. Pitch correction is one of those things that needs to be practiced with.

I use a voice live play, and so does the singer (after using mine). Good echos, good harmonizing if you set it up well (certainly worth you making presets for songs knowing what the key is). Had a few glitches with mine though, but it is underpowered on a pedalboard, so probably why. My wife has the Mic Mechanic, it adds a bit of warmth, but more an individual singer thing, as it doesn't do much that you couldn't do with the mixer (or it does, but probably not enough to warrant). I have just got a TC Critical mass as I realised that for mostly backing vocals, all I really need is the gang vocal and backing singer stuff. Its also smaller and space on the pedal board is a big thing for me.

Agreed that is silly. While it can be tricky to work out who shot someone, it is not often that complicated to work out who was shot. And if it is, then maybe it doesn't matter so much?

Yes, how to do these repairs is to replace the neck with one that isn't broken! So yes, its cheaper at full price

Seems sometimes that things that need work or things that look like they are going to be cheap end up much more expensive than a good example of the same thing. I guess people think it is going to go cheap and end up invested in it. I have certainly sold something broken on ebay for more than a working example (via auction).

haha - exactly the opposite of what people have been saying here. So not a signature at all, just a artist tie in, like the fender signature model 'what colour would you like your signature P bass to be, you can have black white or sunburst'

Well, at least they want to discuss your equipment not some other totally random thing, that is sort of a bonus. He missed out the person who wants to have a discussion with you while you are singing, and the person who wants to shake your hand while you are playing

Certainly if it was broken you would. Or not designed to run at 18v. I am talking about flat. If you turn the bass up to +18dB or something then yes, you would benifit from the headroom, although probably your amp would be probably be clipping it anyway.
