1. Perhaps I had a duff one then! Point I was making is that for me I like to load in to the venue in one trip and that means only using 1 cab another not 2, I achieve this with the Mark Bass head and one of the 1x12 Berg cabs in all sorts of venues and have never felt underpowered but with the BH250 I got nowhere near this hence why I sold it on!!
I've got a BH250 plus RS210 and RS212 cabs. I've rehearsed and gigged with just the 210, just the 212 and with both. I can't really remember the venues for each configuration because I've not had a volume problem with any of them, though I did an outdoor wedding reception with just the 212 (the 210 stayed in the car) without problems. I previously played with an Ashdown Mag 300 Evo II and various combinations of Mag210/Mag115 but mainly 2x Mag210 and I've not noticed any volume problems with the BH250 config - though my back is happier. I'm not pretending this is a definitive answer, more to illustrate that asking this sort of 'loudness' advice comes with so many variables that it probably renders any answers not too helpful. The only real way to be sure is to try one for yourself. I don't get the logic of your last point - I'd rather carry more light items than fewer big and heavy ones.
2. Can you confirm the controls on this please?
 3. What are the controls on it?
 4. Stu Zender played on the released single so if you ever hear it on the radio that will be his version. Essentially the chorus bassline is totally different. I personally prefer Zenders version, as others have said it just seems more focused and tight with a better groove. I think that he played on everything but this version of Space Cowboy on their 2nd album it was Emergency On Planet Earth that had Andrew Levy and others on it.
I'm confused here. The Mr. X version you mention is stated as being the album version on that vid, and it sounds like the one I know and love from the album. Why wouldn't Stu Zender, who was a full time member for the second album, be playing on the album's title track? Weird. But, I suppose saying that it's amazing how little he actually recorded for the first album. A few sessioners laid most if it down before he got the job I believe, including Andrew Levy from the Brand New Heavies. This is the only version of Space Cowboy I've ever heard. Anyone got a link to the one Stu Zender did play on? Would love to check it out.
5. At the moment yes! A potential sale lined up with a BC member next week though.
 6. I have had no reply to my post or PM so can only assume that it is sold already!
 7. Hi Kev, Sorry it looks like I sent the PM to Shizznit instead of you - would have been helpful if he let me know!
 8. At this moment I think I would prefer to sell as a complete package if possible.
 9. I have decided to move on this excellent amp, as it simply is not getting the use that I had hoped for and I need the cash to pay for my new bass which I am picking up next weekend! This amp is in mint condition, I bought it from another Basschatter recently and he had only used it a few times at home and I have only used it at two rehearsals and for practising at home so it is in as new condition and has never been gigged. It comes with all original boxes/packaging, the RC4 remote footswitch, gigbag and two leads for connecting the switch. One is the factory supplied one and the other is a bespoke one which the previous owner had made and is longer and of much better quality. If you want any more pics then please let me know. No trades please as I really need the cash!

 12. Yep no worries - hoping to get it in the next month. New one is a Rumour though and not a Spitfire which is more like a jazz and the one that they had in Aroundabout Sound.
would love to come over and have a play Mark.. let me know when your free. i remember that GB from Aroundabout sound and it was very hifi.beautiful instrument though.
13. Go GB Andy you know it makes sense!! More than happy for you to come over when I get my new one for a noodle! You can also try the old jazz and and Stingray that I have as you may opt for a 60's vintage jazz which would take care of your budget nicely!!
