Godlyke and Loop-Master back up for sale. Matt - The Hellbaby is really transparent, your bass tone comes through clear underneath a layer of grit. With the boost knob on minimum, its a nice Timmy C-ish grind, but when it's on full, its very dirty indeed. No low end loss either. -

Ok guys, just a couple of pedals left: Barge Concepts VFB-2 Custom - This is an effects loop with a blend on it so you can blend in your clean signal and won't lose any low end. It's all stock, except it has a 3rd footswitch to bypass the blend knob so your signal is 100% wet, and still has the feedback loop too. A brand new stock one will cost you about £70 with shipping, so how about £85 shipped for this modded version. Fulltone Fat Boost - This is a gem of a pedal. Add some light grit or a touch of sparkle to your sound! No low-end loss, I left it on all the time for a bit of sparkle on the high end and some grit on the bass freqs. As new condition, with original box. Velcro on the bottom, but it avoids Mike Fuller's signature. £95 shipped.

I've used both, and needless to say, it's the Mu-Tron that I still own. I didn't get to do a direct comparison, but I sold my Q-Tron after getting a Maxon AF-9, and then sold the AF-9 (even though I LOVED it) because I got the Mu-Tron. Just spend a little extra cash on the real thing instead of trying to get imitations of it.

He has used one. It's on his "Spontaneous Jamming Techniques" DVD/Video he did. I think it may have been used on Around the World too, with some studio enhancement to make it sound better.

CryBaby - The problem with long screws when removing feet

I made a fandangled contraption involving some old computer floppy disks I wasn't using. If you tape two of them together, they create just enough clearance for the velcro to stick to the board unaffected by the feet. If you take another two disks and turn them sideways, you should, with a bit of maneuvering, be able to fit both sets of floppy disks in between the four feet, and then tape them to the pedal. I removed the bottom plate, wrapped velco around the disks, and then wrapped the velcro round the bottom plate, and screwed the plate back on. This locks the velcro between the plate and the pedal on both sides, meaning it can't go loose. Sounds like a lot of work, but it's actually a quick and easy fix, and works fantastically well. -

I see no reason why you couldn't place the buffer conveniently right next to your fuzz's footswitch so you can hit both...If the box is that small it shouldn't be a problem. That's what I'd do. I think 3 is the most logical, but it's not the coolest idea is it

I bought one of Dave's adaptors off TaySte for the same price as new as he'd hardly used it, and the quality is fantastic. Never had a probelm. Not to mention Dave has done some astounding work on my Mu-Tron for me. He's a top, top bloke and I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything off him if I needed it!

I'm fairly certain the Deep Impact is used in this song. Time Is Running Out is done on a keyboard with clean bass on the top. Hysteria is Overdrive/Fuzz with Deep Impact and Clean bass tone.
