11.
Yes, John's been in touch
Think that is the way to go good gear well made at costs less than a tech will charge you most techs charge between 20-35 quid to put a new pup in and as said before routing will cost a pretty penny
 12.
Still makes me wonder who bought though..
True but I have a feeling it will be on ebay again in the near future?

 14. Hi all just weighed the bass and it comes in at a touch under 9LBs using the very scientific bathroom scales
 15. I loved the Epi T-bird thought the sound was lovely and creamy was just so effing heavy
 16. thanks for the kind words folks Paul I will get it weight for yo first thing in the Morning
 17. I keep telling discreet that white basses should be illegal...but some of them on here are none to shabby but dont tell him I said that lol
 18.
In my very humble opinion, one of the most underrated basses on the planet and it's hard to imagine anything as good value as these old Hohners:) I have a passive, headless jobbie that is my "go to" bass and I wouldn't swap it for a gold pig GLWTS
Thanks mate it is indeed a cracking bass I am having to sell this and a few others to fund a special new purchase shhhh and as I don't play much nowadays it just seems silly to have it just to take it off of its hanger to check tuning and polish it every week
 19.
I'm far too sensible for my own good at times, but yes, I took the right choice and backed out.
And besides you would never play it as you probably have tons of sexy gear anyway lol
 20.
Yes sorry, I was busy coming to terms with it.. heh! - It really isn't worth 700, even sentimental money. Really nice CIJ 62 reissues on here have failed to reach £450 and they are in great condition. This 'at a push' is an RI neck on an unknown body.
In that case I think you did the sensible thing and stopped bidding so in reality it could just be a Pretender thats worth about 200 bangers tops?
 21.
Well, when I first spotted it - and boy was I surprised to see it again, I did contact him. He asked lots of questions about the bass and I referred to my own notes and pictures from when I was a teen. (Yes I was a stickler for details even then!) I told him what the bass was worth and then offered more in an effort to secure it, but he wanted at least 700 when he realised 1500 was out of the question.
700 seems a touch steep if it is not a Fender but if it is guess 700 is fair enough? Maybe it will still get relisted?
 22. Does it have a proper east pre? not that I am an expert but that just looks like a sweepable mids control module to me
 23.
Hi, where are you based?
Hello I am just outside of Northampton
