1. ...have to add that this particular bass has the most beautiful afzelia grain I've ever seen. I'm looking at one (much more expensive but it's an older one with wenge neck) in Sweden as well, and it is much more grey and dull in colour, almost looks like ash.
2. Oh man, why now when I can't possibly free any cash for this....someone buy my Thumb in the classifieds, please!
3. Will also consider any other high-end 5-string (shoot me your best offer)!
4.
I would love another one of these but they're SOOOOOO HEAVY.
Well, I'd be happy to trade it against your white Thumb and add some cash in between, that way I get a 5-string and you get less weight!
5. WhoTF could complain about the price on this bass?! This is a one-of-a-kind Spector, a 5-string, and the price is very reasonable! If I'd be located in Sweden I wouldn't hesitate to trade my Thumb + cash.
6. I wish I had the money for this...I've been wanting a 5-string again for a while now, and Spectors are at the top of the list. I can only offer me 91' Thumb NT as a trade bait right now... £2000 is a crazy good price for this bass. Again, good luck with the sale!
7. That seems like an awesome price for a cool instrument! Are these built in the US?
8.
Eller pröva säljd den på PB här hemma.
Jo, jag ska om ett litet tag, men de är så anti-Warwick där att jag vill vänta ett tag. The bass comes with Schaller straplocks on a standard Ernie Ball strap.
9. Sure, they are heavy basses, but compared to some old jazz basses, I don't see what the problem is. The playability is second to none. They practically play themselves. They are not so heavy that you can't stand it. I'm a tall, skinny guy, and I have no problem what so all playing it! The sound is worth the weight! EDIT: Sale price added!
10. No interest in this bass? Perhaps I'll try putting it on eBay in a few days.
11. Sorry to be a know-it-all, but I thought all NS5:es were 35" scale? Also, that looks like a 2-band to me. Anyway, gorgeous bass, good luck with the sale!
12. Is this still available? If so, any interest in a trade for this: Thumb NT 4 91' \Samuel
13.
Give it a bit of time. Also, there are a few 5 string Thumbs/Streamers knocking around the "For Sale" section, you could get in contact with those sellers perhaps.... The guy in the thread below is selling a Thumb V made in the same year as yours. Perhaps you could get him to hold it whilst you make a sale? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=37358&hl=thumb Great bass by the way, but as you can see I'm pretty well covered on the Thumb front! Cheers-
Thanks for the tip, I'll get in touch with him. A Thumb 5 isn't my first choice, but if he would do a straight swap, I'd definitely consider it!
14. I agree with the last post...shame on you! Good luck with the sale THOM!

16. I can't imagine Stu playing that bass (I love the looks BTW) with Ronson. OTOH, what's the use endorsing a bass like that (especially a signature bass) if he doesn't use it on stage? That's kinda' the whole deal with endorsements. Me thinks Stu has a new project coming! However, the day Stu reunites with Jay Kay is the day hell freezes over...
