1. SOLD! I will state here that I may any time withdraw this bass for sale if I change my mind about it, just as a disclaimer. Semi-acoustic 6-string built 1999. Bought 2005 from the Groove Shoppe NYC. Lane Poor dual coils, Bartolini 3-band eq Active/passive-switch. Vol/vol setup. 35" scale, 24 frets, 17 mm spacing. For full disclosure: it has a cm big hairline crack by the stacked knob. This has been fixated by a prof. luthier. Small nick on the headstock is the only other blemish I'm aware of. Will get more pics later. Trades: I'm interested in any high end 5-string bass, e.g. Sadowsky, MTD, Spector, Zon. Other brands as well, but those are the most attractive ATM. Preferably 19 mm spacing. I might be interested in a Sadowsky 4-string jazz as well. Price: £1850, negotiable. A few simple clips recorded with the built-in mic on my laptop (don't mind the crappy playing):
 2. No problem! Hope it finds a good home.
 3. These are killer basses, very versatile. I should know, I have one myself! A lot of sound options. The passive tone control is unique to this Warwick.
 4.
Wow, two totally amazing basses in one thread! I'd have them both if I could afford them ...
Well you have some fine instruments as well, sir! Getting back on topic, what are the laminates between the body and the top?
 5. Just as feeler; any interest in a Modulus OB6?
 6.
That's a very nice, honest looking bass. Reminds me of my old JD Roadie (yours is much nicer though). D.
Thanks! I see you also enjoy the Puma! I also see you have an M 2x12. Lucky bastard!
 7.
Congrats mate! That's one hell of a good looking bass! Really love the koa and the pinstripe neck laminates are a nice touch. How're you finding the 32" scale? Eude
Awesome. The 32" scale was what got me into these basses at first. The shorter frets makes it a breeze to play!
 8.
This bass is the one that could send me back to buying headed basses.... it's stunning. Christian is a real nice guy too....
Thanks! Christian is one of the warmest guys I know.
 9. So here are some nighttime, indoor iPhone pics of my new bass that I got today, built by Swedish luthier Christian Olsson of Unicornbass. It is an Artist 2010 bass, mahogany body, koa top, maple/purpleheart neck and rosewood board. 4-band preamp with QUAD pickups (s/hb/s switching for each). Needless to say, it's everything I've ever dreamed of in a bass. Will do an extensive review in two weeks after rehearsals and possibly gigs!
 10. Thanks guys. The delivery date is now set in stone. The weekend of April 24-25 is when I will collect the masterpiece. Expect lotsa pics and perhaps even a video or two.

 13. I am very excited...I have a ****load of stuff to read for the biggest exam yet in my Law studies (that's civil law as opposed to British common law BTW) and the bass is the light at the end of the tunnel keeping me going.
 14.
Looking great mate Eude
Thanks! I guess you already figured out I am "The_Owl" on Talkbass?
 15. Progress update: All that is left is pickup, bridge and control routes, then finish and assembly!
 16.
That's gonna be one cool bass mate! I think it's best without the cutaway too Who did your mockup for you?... Eude
A guy on talkbass.
 17.
Much better without, if you can deal with the discomfort, IMO.
Yeah, I've decided to go without the cutaway. I don't have them on my current basses so I don't have anything to miss.
