17. Howdy, Selling this beauty, simple fact is I brought this as its stunning and also for its potential investment potential. But I never use it Pictures and text coutesy of James the previous owner (many thanks mate) Its a fender "made in japan" jazz in surf green .A future classic for sure and a snip at this price The serial number is J followed by six digits, which indicates it was made in 1989/1990. The bass has been set up nicely, with a low action and sounds great! The pickup screws are a little bit rusty, so dont move fully up unfortunately. Bass has been cleaned up and strung with new rotos. the body has a few dings, the neck is fairly good for a 20-21 year old bass. Facts; The pickguard has got holes in it for a pickup cover, but the body hasn't http://www.fender.com/support/colorchart.p...en&color=41 - closest color thats similar on fender colour chart I AM NOW LOOKING FOR £400 COLLECTED payment by cheque, cash or bank transfer l, i can post to any destination in the U.K for an additional £20 quid, comes with a soft fender gigbag, probably not original. Collection from Birmingham would be better though. 18. Liam is a really cool guy, very honest and tallented to boot. Whilst I cannot whole heartidly vouch for him as a tutor, as I am not a student of his, I can safely say he is a fantastic player, a true gent and a very knowledgable and enthusiastic bass player. Liam purchased a bass of mine a good while ago, turned up on time, was pleasent and had the readdies. when he arrives he trys out the bass he is buying from me playing all kinds of things from beyoncee to intricate jazz lines to slap, tap etc, but it was really natual as opposed to showing off, licks etc. He then played all of the rest of my collection of exotic basses (and made them sound better than I could have made them sound) I were really impressed how someone so youthful could be so accomplished!! His feel, sense of groove and timing were impeccible.(handsome B***ard As well!! and his tallent left me and my 25 years of performing feeling somewhat humble. Regards Mark
