2.
It looks great and the necks are Identicle anyway (Other than the logo obviously)as someone who went on a few months ago about the stingray necks being more fragile than the sabre ones found out by the public hanging that followed!
I did hear a rumour that when they were bought out they bolted anything together and a few mismatched basses came out, but rumours are rumours. I know my "walnut" has a neck and body date about 3 months apart indicating the stock piling of parts before assembly. Beautiful bass good luck with the sale
 3.
If I had a bigger house, I'd be on this like a rash. As I stand now...
Well, You are welcome to the bottom half of an identical one, It has a keyboard and reeds, however no bellows as they turned to dust when removed due to wood worm. I had intended on putting a synth in where the keys were and keeping it but 2 of the buggers in the house when the wife still wants to get rid of the working one, So Its basically this with the keys removed but you can have those as well, all for the price of collection mate AND if you take it I MAY be able to keep the big un for myself to while away the winter eves pumping away at my big organ and bringing a smile to all the gathered faces
 4. Here we have a STUNNING Victorian era pump organ, It is made by the Bell Organ Company in Ontario Canada, It is the only version I have seen complete with the beautifully ornate over mantle section which has been restored with initial French polishing and just awaits multiple coats of wax by the future owner. The organ itself is in FULL working order with all stops and keys working as they should. It sounds EFFING STUNNING The bellows are strong and have no leaks and the "mouse proof" treadles work fine also. Obviously this is a big and heavy piece of wood so collection is preferred however you are welcome to organise your own courier at your expense. Also woodworm free Got this on the bay for £250 cause I dont really want to sell but if you want it hit me with an offer Cheers Dave
 5. Hello Bert bought my Ric machine heads, great swift international deal with great comms. Cant recommend Bert enough. Cheers mate Dave

 9.
Hi David, What is the neck and fingerboard like, any fret wear? Cheers, Gary
Hi Gary No its not got much wear mate, Obviously as its 16 years old the frets arent super clean and are marked but nothing that hinders playing and would not require refretting. Heres some zoomed pics for the minute; Cheers David

 17. Neither did I TBH. Should add that the bass has a great action and feel for a bass this price, would be good as a project bass, slap a decal on it and maybe better pickup? Also the guard is a usa vintage much better than the original white Cheers Dave
 18. Beautiful Black precision, 50th Anniversary model (1996) Good condition for age with only some light scratches to front from what looks like over aggressive plectrum use. No case but neck will be removed for posting. Looking for £100 + P&P Cheers Dave
 19.
8 Rays plus 18 others? Oh my. It's time for a fresh thread of Dave's Porn. I sometimes feel extravagant with 6 basses. This place makes me feel much better.
I will try and get some shots together for you but in the mean time........ 8 Rays 6 Fenders 5 Overwaters 2 Rickenbackers 1 Wal 1 Hohner B2a 1 Hondo 830 Deluxe 1 Tanglewood Violin Bass 1 Squier Precision
 20.
I imagine there's at least another 10 non-Rays lurking out of shot too, unless Dave's been on a real selling spree.
at least=18
 21. Looked for an 80s Dyna 4 string for years, managed to get one from the states, grey metallic (will dig out a pic) fabulous basses but sold it cause I really want the red and gold version
 22.
Never thought I'd hear you say that, Dave, for any value of n.
True, I usually work to n+1.8= Just thinking of spread betting the collection a little better, I seem to go through periods of amassing lots of one instrument, Overwaters, Precisions, Rics and now Rays and after all I keep telling the wife its a pension not a collection................
