  1. cheap fuzz its hard to beat the chowny as its actually a very very good fuzz pedal!
  2. cant get enough ashdown! i have a few of there pedals aswell! the NM2 is awesome! just to big for the board atm!
  3. never still around i just dnt have the room for that at the min,
  4. current layout, will be changing tomorrow as ive got a few new pedals i wanna try out.
  5. So anybody else grab a Bongripper V2? super excited for mine to arrive!
  6. you looking to use more than one of them at a time? i really liked the line 6 m5/9 for this as the drives might not be great but really rated the modulation stuff
  7. hey guys so as people who have seen me post before im a bit of a sucker for Fuzzrocious pedals! for my sound they work...... i get they arent for everyone. just wondering if any else on this side of the pond grabbed a 420 fuzz? as hes doing a second run soon and they are well worth a look! also sticking with fuzzrocious i managed to snag one of there V2 bongripper Overdrive/Distortion pedals which will be coming in early August (wait is going to hurt) its basically a stripped down cat tail and demon in one box with a blend to go between the two circuits also another new pedal/s were my two new bits from solid gold fx, been looking at there if 6 was 9 fuzz for ages as i lamely really liked the name but also all the demos just sound sweet! (well if you like fuzz) then saw a deal happening last month buy a pedal get a free boost! and a custom shop bc183cc if 6 was 9 was reduced so jumped on it and got there bc239 boost for free! the fuzz is wicked but that boost!!!! and together its all kinds of fun! well worth a look if your looking for a boost! and now to a company i love pedal isnt on the board right now due to this board having to do two bands but both these could go on soon! lateral sound have made me customs before but these two are soon to be part of there catalogue the Broot (Bass drive) and Thermite ( fuzz/distortion/noise machine) oh and fyi i wanted the messed up acid finish on the thermite! and finally to the pedal ill be getting as soon as i can get the funds together! the chase bliss Thermae that thing is the sickest sounding pedal ive heard! so crazy and yet super musical at the same time the mini doc on the chase bliss youtube page just totally sold me on it as i was tempted before! there on pre order now so hopefully will be able to sort something soon.
  8. thats true!
  9. thing is recording demos direct for pedals in particular drives they will sound awful! however i would like to hear this in a big valve amp think thats where it might sound more at home!
  10. yeh still have it! its a bit of a beast to tame! and the input trimmer being on the inside is a bit of a pain, but i love how the pedal sounds so will def be keeping it!
  11. looks like a great day! was sadly gigging in exeter so couldnt get to it
  12. Will be double checking but I’ll should be fine to bring the full rig again aswell as few basses
  13. Board set up went a bit crazy the other night!
  14. a few better and cheaper options, as the delay side of the deco it would appear you dnt need. something like an earthquaker devices speaker cranker or if you want some eq the Westwood is great. also the fuzzrocious Lunareclipse is a great choice
  15. bump for actually putting the video link in!
  16. all round its great! as a boost and a light drive and into my ashdown ctm it can get very dirty! and i normally have it after the omicron atm
  17. The primer is back in for a new track, still considering a H9 as it covers so many bases
  18. So I’ve been looking at a pitch factor for a long time, basically will do any harmonies I want and will be cool with my whammy however looking at the pricing I could get a H9 for a bit more and then possibly grab some space or mod factor patches aswell? Only issue is the iPad app rather than actual controls on the pedal. Anyone have experience with both who could advise
  19. Your closest reference the two videos mentioned, however to compare this to the omicron the westwood can get 65/70% a kinda similar sound but they are honestly very different the omicron is way more versatile with the two drive engines, but with the if you just want a simple low gain gain drive the westwood is worth a shout do be prepared to crank the bass control tho
  20. Yep I have that set up in a patch, it’s sounds great, it’s basically I sound I would have like to get from the ultra but didn’t look like I’d be able to, also just allows me to have one more raw sound in the omicron and one slightly more mid heavy sound in the omega. And the eqd westwood after either sounds great
  21. This thing slays!!! Sounds so good!
  22. Just gone the other way and added the omicron to my board
  23. If you use the chorus with a lower mix it can act as a thickener with out that bad 80’s sound i need to sort my moog out with midi so I can use it more
