1.
Not a bad small board mate, I have the TU-2 and 105Q myself too, both cracking pedals. What's the FM-4 like on Bass then? I've been gassing after one for ages but haven't taken the plunge yet, worth it?
it struggles on the tracking for some of the wacky effects but for 90% its wicked! so much control over the effects! im looking at grabbing a dl-4, i know i could grab an m9 but that comes with aloud of crap that i dnt need. but yeh man its well worth checking out! andy
 2. ok so here's my sad effort! will have alot more stuff once i get another distortion pedal and a delay pedal. from my wah it goes TU-2 > EHX Metal Muff > fm4 > RC-2 im gonna add my other pedals in using a LS-2 so i can have them on a dif loop but we'll see as ill have to redo it when i finally get my dual rig on the go! not that impressive but still makes some cool noises! love the fm4 probs my fave pedal atm! andy
 3.
Woooo Hooo!!! Excellent! I know what you mean about the timing though - I'm not used to concentrating on my feet as well as my hands! (I never was any good at football!!) - my 'punch ins' have been a bit random at times - though the Digitech does feature 'auto-quantise' so in most cases I can get away with a lazy foot! I'm really looking forward to getting a few ideas down on video - looking like next week now, but I echo your sentiment! I'm having lots of fun jamming out loops of well known songs, all on bass! Me Likey!
yeh the rc-2 has a similar thing will sort the drums out if your slightly off. yeh im trying to sort out a video but looking at some of the ones on the net it makes me nervous! andy
 4. so im starting to put together my board for my dual rig setup ive been getting together as it looks like ive have a more beefy amp sorted soon and need it ready to go when i grab another cab around october when we start gigging again! im planning on having this signal chain, from my bass go into my TU-2 then into my crybaby and then into my lehle pedal swticher. then take the A out of the lehle into my db750 and 610hlf as my clean sound. and from B go into the input on my LS-2, then on loop A put my ehx metal muff, then on loop B put my other two effects firstly my yet to be bought ODB-3 and then my line 6 FM4. then the out put of the LS-2 goes into my boss loop station then onto the effected amp and more than likely 210 cab. sound ok or is there anything you guys would do dif? andy

 7.
Limited edition MonkeyDream board ( Ghost Monkey X3012) on it's way to me. Awesome wedding gift!! http://monkeydream.com/ghost_monkeyX3012.html
that is awesome!
 8. looking into getting a dual rig back on the go and need something a bit more powerful, so looking into selling or trading the lm2 and cab. im looking for 350 quid for the amp and about 180 quid for the cab which is the av 210 cab in my sig. awesome practice amp or would be suitable for small pub gigs. anyone interested? this is a bit of a rubbish pic but the cabs spotless! also shows the whole rig together. andy
 9. me likey! really easy to use! will take a bit of time before i use it live with the band tho! need to get my timing up a bit better but other that that really cool! Very happy! andy
 10. will do get it tomoz! andy
 11. also is there any danger in looping so many signals thru one amp and cab? andy
 12.
I chose the digitech as it has far more options than the loop RC-20XL and I really didn't want another big pedal board like the RC-50.
yeh i saw the big one and i have no need for that! yeh i looked at the digi but i only want it for fun and doing something with solos in the band so i went for the baby of the group the rc-2 andy
 13. you have a pm
 14. yeh man, i had one and i know the buzz your on about, also know all about the power problem! i got rid of mine in the end as too many problems came up with it! but i had no complaints with the sound! hope you fair better with yours! andy
 15.
I just took delivery of my new DB750 that I bought second hand, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the Clip light to come on. Active bass (Lakland DJ5) into the amp with the Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble knobs dimed, with the master EQ all the way down, and it didn't clip once even with the most aggressive technique. Now it sounds fantastic with everything from the Active Lakland to my Passive P with flats, but I just couldn't get it to clip. I just wasn't sure if this was natural behaviour or not! Can anyone shed some light on the matter? Cheers
never seen mine clip either. just a q but why do you want it to clip? andy
 16. I'd go for the bass wah! if i remember i think it only wahs the mids and highs, so you keep alot more bass in the sound. also it can act as a volume boost aswell! as unlike the cheaper guitar wah it has a volume and another pot that controls the amount of wah, and also has the spring action so you dnt have to go from the toe postion. all those features are why it costs more. andy
 17.
Out of everything here, I'd go for the DB751 set-up with probably the DB classic black cab if you can cope with the size of it...but then everything in that league will be probably be big anyway. Fits the 20 yrs and unusual criteria as well, IMO. Matamp might be worth investigating.
i love my db750 thru my ampeg 610!
 18.
All I can add to that is just to try the M9 with an open mind if you decide to try one out. It doesn't feel like you're using a multi FX, which was my main worry with it at first.
indeed!
 19.
You are mistaken on the M9 you can have 6 sounds saved with a further 5 more scenes each with another 6 fx saved. The m9 can do 3 fx at a time with the 6 to choose from and use the looper all at the same time. The dl4 and fm4 can do 2 sounds at the same time (between the 2 pedals) with 7 sounds to choose from (4 on the fm4 and 3 on the dl4) and you can only use the looper with a basic echo. I'm not trying to force the m9 down your throat but its so much better than the xx4 range and for about the same as 2 new xx4 pedals. As for the boss it's very good but I've never got on with anything that was a dedicated looper, they tend to lack loop manipulation functions. The smmh is a great example of much you can mess with a loop, pitch and tempo shifting all with analog quirk and glitchyness. Hope this helps Oh and for those that don't know looperlative are doing a pedal that will be dl4 sized, it look pretty feature heavy.
no man its always nice to have ppls advice on these things! ill try and find one and try it out! i never got on with the boss multi effect unit i had a while back cos of the layout and the m9 looks a bit similar in its slanted design but we will see. andy
 20.
Just to echo that about the M9, it's fantastic. What is it you're not feeling about it? As essentially the sounds are identical to the ones in the FM4 and DL4 etc. Even if you only use the delays, it's better than the DL4 for versatility! (but more expensive if that's all you're using it for)
well here goes, from the vids ive seen you can only save one sound per an effect at a time, compared to 4 on my fm4 and 3 on the dl4, also i would only use it for the fm and dl functions, so i know that those two pedals together plus my distortions and tuner take up more room but i just feel that its better for me. does that make sense? andy
 21.
DL4 is fine with bass but again the M9 is a much better purchase as it would replace the FM4 and DL4 and offer more flexability Also the DL4 doesn't have undo which really, is a must unless you are the bass playing terminator known as Dood
im just not feeling the m9 after watching some vids loving the boss tho! andy
 22.
If its the flanger I'm thinking someones getting a serious bargain!!
really ? i think its the bf-2? andy
 23. anyone here got a dl4? how are they on bass just got the fm4 and that works well. also what people views on the boss loop station? andy
