1. Its obviously much more than just a delay but still dnt get the high price. Just to much for on pedal
2.
It's mainly due to the rarity of the chip. When you use a Moog anything, you then realise that they're a premium instrument.
but 600!! looks amazing! but thats alot of money for a delay! (still go and listen to the vid!) damn shame they wnt let you a/b it shep! although id imagine if you got one in the house you'd want to keep it!! andy
3. 30507090 pm sent dude! and chris is right! sounds really good! andy
4. doubt it the rating of the ampeg are the same on as the orange arent they irc? plus ameg and orange sound good together used to use a svt pro-6 6 through a 115 orange. andy
5.
My bank balance can't afford it. Not without selling other stuff. I have indulged far too much over the last year or two and now I'm more play, less work there's no way that's going to happen. What do you think? £450?
450! thats why i sadly dnt own any moog pedals! thw missus was gonna get me a ringmod but that feel through after we couldnt find a second hand one! andy
6. sheps bank balance is getting scared!
7. no presets so there out even if the are nice! andy
8.
Yes it can I have a few different minirack effects for this reason. Does the job and usually cheaper...
how are you swtiching them from the floor? sperate swticher? andy
9. dude joe bonamassa is awesome! blues is about the guitar really man! but the bass in bonamassa's stuff is always very cool!
10. again open to any offers trade wise. andy
11. still looking for a dubster or super 12 to try out near plymouth andy
12.
Can your budget stretch to a used Line6 M9? Tons of reverb sounds, and definitely has the wacky, ambient out-there bases covered. Guitarist I know uses one for all of his 'verb effects and gets some amazing results. Obviously, it does tons of other stuff too, so will find multiple uses if you're an effects-heavy player. If they're too far out of your budget, the M5 has (as far as I know) all of the same effects on board, just in a much smaller footprint and is less easy to hop through presets on the fly.
im not sure what the m9's are going for now second hand? andy
13.
You can pick up an Alesis Microverb for about 15 - 20 quid on Ebay - it's mini-rack style but worth playing with..
im guessing this can't be swtiched from the floor tho? andy
14.
I think it took a knock during shipping... Something kept not quite engaging right. Like every 10th time I turned it on it was missing half the gain. Ry's going to check it over for me and send it straight back out. Wicked service. I'll have it back in no time. Thinking about a Broke Dick Peanut Gallery to replace my Fulltone Bass Drive now. Apparently they sound immense when you a Stache into them...
i see, that is good customer service!
15.
Yeah. Would you say Would you say it's too gimmiky?! Or is it a nice niche that will work ona pro level?
im guessing you mean the tube? nope it does add a certain flavour to the sound, but it wont give you drive like a proper tube pre amp might. yeh the amp is a pro piece of kit! lots of pros using them. alternatively if you ment the momark stuff, it def not! you basically have all the markbass amps plus you can do custom combinations! i would have gone down this route if i had the money but i needed to get a powerfull head for around 400 notes and so i grabbed a second hand lm500 for that. try one out you might find yourself finding you like the solid state pre? in which case you can grab a lm3 for about 350 secondhand! andy
16. love this pedal but im moving away from a dirty sound and moving more into modulation sounds! got a boss odb-3 if i want some dirt so just moving this on! im looking to trade ideally! looking for a nice reverb, but would also be open to a nice chorus or multi effect with some nice reverbs and modulation in it! obviously probs have to add some cash for that. looking for £65 posted, in good nick always been on a pedalboard and looked after! andy
17. the 500 is loud, but then i am running through my 610! but i have it at about 12'o'clock? so theres still a little bit more to go. really nice clean tones, you can also add a little edge with the tube pre, not distorting but just a bit of edge. really nice amp! i dnt need the 800 but if you have the money why not get a more powerfull amp? and the 800 is i think pretty good value! although i might be tempted to get a momark head as its about the same price and you then can basically have all the markbass heads on tap as the modules are pretty reasonable! andy
18.
Is it a specific reverb style/sound you're after or just as much variety as you can get? Personally I use the Hall Of Fame which is very popular and I love, personally I don't feel it can be beaten for the price. No presets but a huge range of sounds can be made with it.
i want a lot of dif reverbs, from wacky to norm, the hall of fame is good but i dnt wanna be going down and changing setting during a gig! and i do want to go from the extreme to subtle reverb. so presets would be nice!
