1. Marc bought my K&K upright pickup system recently- he's a thoroughly decent chap and a pleasure to deal with... Thanks mate! Etienne
2. Just bought Clarky's K&K Bassmax pickup- did the deal late on Thursday evening, and it arrived this lunchtime. Looks mint and works perfectly- fantastic! Thanks mate, nice one! Et
3. Hi everyone, I'm selling as I've just bought a Bassmax piezo-only pickup from Clarky to use with my Fdeck pre for live stuff, so this complete system is now surplus to requirements! The system comprises of the combination Golden Bullet DB mic and Bassmax contact piezo, the dual-channel Golden Trinity 9V-powered preamp (with internal trim pot tool), and a 6-foot approx, stereo jack lead to connect the mic/pickup to the preamp. I'll also throw in a couple of cable ties to help secure the mic assembly to the bridge. Everything works as intended, and is in good condition. After a firm £100 for the lot, including UK mainland shipping. No offers please! EDIT: SOLD & GONE! Please PM if interested and/or to ask further questions- thanks for looking. Etienne
4. Price-drop bump- now a quid off each string!

Colin recently bought a double bass mute from me- another good egg here in the BC community! Paid swiftly and was on the ball with communication too- a pleasure to deal with. Thanks mate! Etienne
6. Ha ha, cheers Kim! It was good to finally try out the Bardens, but the NJ4s just suit my particular Jazz perfectly...
7. Hi everyone, These are the original factory-fitted strings that came as part of the deal with my Stentor Student 3/4, but as I bought it with Innovation Silver Slaps already installed, I can't see myself ever using them! I don't think they've seen much use, and they look to be in good condition. Perfect for a budget project! I'll also throw in a tub of Stentor-branded rosin which I don't need. After [s]£16[/s] £12 for the lot, including UK mainland postage. EDIT: NOW SOLD. PM if interested, cheers! Etienne
8. Hi everyone, For some reason I have two of these, but don't use either! After £7.50 for each, including postage to UK mainland. EDIT: Both now sold- thanks for the interest! PM if interested, cheers! Etienne

10. Hi everyone, I've recently switched over to Dunlop straplocks for all my instruments, so these are now surplus to requirements. They work perfectly, with minimal wear- the mounting screws haven't been used. After £8 for these, including postage to UK mainland. PM if interested... cheers! 11. Hi everyone, I bought these from Kim AKA kdubb24 a couple of months ago- they are high-output, dual-rail humbuckers that fit in standard Jazz Bass pickup routs (notably used by Ben Kenney of Incubus, who gets superb tone with them). After trying these out however, I realised that I still preferred Nordstrand NJ4s in my Jazz Bass... They were carefully installed for me by KGB Music in Birkenhead, so the pickups are still in great condition, and come with the plastic shipping box and instruction sheet. The original screws were not supplied when I bought these, so I had KGB shorten some Fender pickup screws to fit them- these will be included in the sale. I will add that the wires were trimmed a bit to make a neat installation (not my decision!), but there's still more than enough material left for the new owner to work with. Bearing this in mind, I am asking £125 for these, including UK shipping. No offers please! EDIT: GONE Please PM if interested... cheers! 12.
This looks a beat, Very tempting at that price. I have never played a Lakland but love the recorded sounds I have heard and the look and colour of this beastie. I already have too many basses though so good luck with your sale. Have a bump!
Thanks mate, it really is lovely to play! The neck profile is very reminiscent of a 70's Jazz, but with a flatter radius across the fingerboard- along with the factory Plek set-up and the easy-access truss rod wheel, this makes it easy to dial in a super-low action if you want it... EDIT: Now withdrawn- I've decided to hold onto this for now!
13. Now reduced to £520 (posted in UK) or £500 collected- if this still doesn't sell at this ludicrous price, I'm keeping it! PS will gladly trade for a REDDI plus cash...
14. I've got one! Bought it last year from a fellow Basschatter as my entry into DB world, and I love it! Mine had been properly set up with Innovation Silver Slaps (synthetic gut), and plays beautifully with a big sound (I only play pizz)- always gets positive comments from my fellow musicians! The only issue I've had was with the endpin rattling- I found that it was coming from the tiny retaining rivet at the top of the endpin itself. A couple of minutes with a hacksaw cured the issue...
15. Just took delivery of Kim's Joe Barden JB4 pickups- as mentioned before, a top bloke to deal with! The pickups took a while to arrive, but this was due to Royal Snail taking ages to deliver the package- Kim was absolutely spot on during our communications over the sale, and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again... thanks mate!

17.
I am in love with this bass!!! Get a bump
Thanks mate, it is a lovely instrument indeed!
18. Weekend bump... considering keeping this and relocating the neck pickup further back- get in there before I make my mind up!
19. Just took delivery of Andy's {sfx} H-1 headphone amp- great bit of kit at a bargain price, and delivered pretty quickly too! Thanks mate...
