1. Sorry for the delay, but yes both of the gig bags are still for sale, cheers:)
2. Price dropped to £45 including shipping!
3. Bought new and used very few times. Great overall condition, cosmetically there is some wear on the K&K logo from being sandwiched in the bridge, as new besides this. Pickup from Twickenham area or can post. Cheers -Noah
4. 2 Gig bags up for sale: SOLD - Fusion F1 Electric Bass Gig Bag in Green - £45 Used, but has loads of life left. Would definitely recommend this type of bag if you've got a lot of travelling to do with a bass. In pretty good condition overall but is worth noting that one of the shoulder straps is reinforced with a bit of stitching. This was done with a high quality leather sewing machine so doesn't look like I've gone in by hand. Also, since the case was delivered to me new, one of the zippers was not intact. This was never an issue for me as there are two zippers but just want to be clear about everything. Warwick Rockbag- £20 Used, but still worth selling to someone who can make use of it. I would prefer collection from Twickenham, I live right near a train station, but may be able to post at your expense if you act quickly (before I throw out the right size box). Cheers, -Noah
5. Up for sale is my superb modded Geddy Lee fretless...the story is as follows: The original Geddy Lee Jazz bass (Fender, Japan, 2001) was modified by its original owner to have an upgraded Schaller bridge, Dimarzio Model J pickups and a fretted Shuker neck, the bass was then sold on through basschat and the body (black - alder) was sent to the BassDoc, one of the best for working on fender basses in the UK. The BassDoc added a beautiful fretless jazz neck with Hipshot Ultralite tuners. This is easily one of the best feeling necks I've ever touched before. Coupled with the 70's pickup spacing gives a thrilling fretless burp like no other fretless I've had, its been played, gigged, loved and is brilliant! If I could keep it I would! There is also an alternate standard jazz wiring loom with CTS pots and a Switchcraft jack socket (received from BassDoc) that can be dropped in to replace the modded electrics (it currently has a master volume, a 4 way rotary selector for pickup choice and the usual tone pot). The body has a few scars/mojo marks from its former life. Its been cleaned up but haven't filled in any of its paint chips. The bass comes in a functional but untidy looking Warwick Rockbag. If you're interested in the bass, by all means come over and have a play on it and see if its the one for you. Hoping to not ship if possible, but could meet around the M25 somewhere as well. [s]£500...ish;)[/s] £400 Cheers, -Noah 07706501103
6. Now sold, thanks bass chat. Nice neoprene bass strap, great condition, is practically new, but you can tell that the strap has had strap locks on it. Only reason for sale is that the strap is too long for my ideal bass height. £13 including shipping! Cheers, -Noah
7. Have a Danelectro FAB overdrive pedal that needs to go. £10 and its yours. Cheers, -Noah
8. Just bought 2 pedals off of Roger and was a pleasure to deal with. Fast responses and received the pedals the day after I sent the money over. Would certainly buy from again. Cheers mate
9. Hi there hxbass and number6- I'm a London based teacher who has the capability of skype teaching, so have a few comments on the topic for you:) Generally, I do all my teaching out of southwest London, however I have done some skype lessons in the past. In my experience, this has worked, but it does also come down to how the student learns best. The easiest way I have found to have skype lessons is with the student playing through an amp using the computer's built-in mic (if it has one) while I send a direct signal of my bass and voice through skype so there's a clean audible signal for you to receive. On the other hand, if you're concerned with noise, you could use a similar setup to what I have using a two input interface which then allows you to skip out having to plug into an amp and lets you send your bass signal straight to skype. The downside of this is that there is some money to be spent on getting this equipment, so if you can manage to get away with plugging into your amp once a week it is probably a better way to start out at least. In terms of writing and documents, skype works great as the application allows you to send through pdf's and other documents while talking, just as if I were to put something in front of you in person. This allows me to send over notes and music during the lesson along with a practice plan for the coming week with just a few clicks. Visually, things work out pretty well. If you have the camera positioned properly, it is a similar view to looking at my playing in person, the downside to this is that you can't move your head to get a closer look! However, with a little communication you can change camera angles and get the same techniques across. Happy to help out if you've got any other questions. Alternatively, if your interested to see how skype works out for you, drop me a pm and we can set up a time to try it out. All the best -Noah
10. This is just the kind of feedback I was looking for. Good to hear some many of you are using them. Handy little things aren't they... Big thank you to all who have commented. Cheers for the advice and seems like it might be time to dish out on one before my student discount runs out:) All the best -N
11. Hi Folks- Have a question for you, hopefully this is the right section to post it in. I've been looking at getting an iPad in order to have a less stressful and more professional way of having charts with me for certain gigs. Ideally, would love to be doing all my gigs chart free, but have been getting more last minute swing type functions in lately where memorising 3 hours worth of material in the given time just won't happen for me. This along with some other possible cruise work on the table has led me to think it might be worth dishing out to get one... My main concern is turning up to a gig with all my charts on the iPad and having the iPad not work or stop working in the middle of a gig. So am wondering if anyone in the basschat community uses an iPad for gigs, and more specifically, has anything ever gone wrong with it when you needed it to work? Any comments are much appreciated! All the best, -Noah
12. Would highly recommend dealing with Dave and would do so again myself. I've just bought a p-bass from him and am super pleased with both the bass and his communication. Safely packed and quickly shipped, cheers mate!
13. Got an eq for my upright from Harry. He was brilliant to deal with and always quick to get back to me. All the best mate!

16. For sale is a very well loved 3/4 upright gig bag. The zipper no longer works, although there is some rope in place to tie the bag shut. Wasn't sure what to set the price at, as I'm mostly looking to clear out some space, but could certainly help sort someone out as you can pay a fortune for a new case. Let me know if you're interested. Pickup only please. I'm based in Camden, London. Cheers, -Noah 07706501103
